"Uhh... Peeta... umm..." I stuttered. How could I possibly tell him what was on my mind?

"Gale said you had something to tell me. That I should hear it from you, not him." Peeta continued. He walked closer to me and put his hand on my belly.

I cringed. Yes, I wanted to terminate the twins before I was pregnant enough for them to be alive. I didn't expect Peeta to find out so soon.

"Well, are you going to tell me what Gale said I should know?" he asked.

I still stayed silent. I knew Peeta wouldn't want to hear I wanted to get rid of the babies. It would kill him.

"Peeta..." I started. "You know I haven't always had the best experiences while pregnant.."

He nodded. "That's understandable. That's something we can work on this time around."

I sighed. "I guess so." I said.

"What are you going to tell me? Please Katniss, out with it."

"I was going to tell you.." I started. But I saw the look on his face. Pure happiness. There was no possible way I could do this to him. Break his heart like this. "..I can't wait for the babies to come." I lied instead.
