A Poem Just For You

Okay, so I just came back from classes and I found this in my wattpad inbox from a dear reader, @akashi_ryuuki,  who also fell in love with the book. She went out of her way to create a beautiful poem just for this book, solely dedicated to the main protagonist in this book, Akashi Seijuro and Kuroko Tetsuki.  Thank you for this lovely poem. Never in my writer life, i've received a handmade poem from any of my readers. I'm happy to have you and everyone else as my faithful readers. 

So, here it is everyone.

It wasn't a coincidence,
for us to have met,
nor was it an option.
we revolved in our own story,
it spins endlessly,
we are eternity.

You are the light, we are the start,
of the story untold within a million lies.
through the obstacles, through a maze.
I'm surprised we got so far,
I'm sorry it was too late,
I'm sorry for being the cause of your suffer.
Is it that we're not meant to be?
O' fate and destiny.

This is war, to be separated.
We were just nice so why now?
I thought you're the one but what is this?
Running to the start of nothing,
Crying to the end of happiness.
Maybe it wasn't us.

I am the shadow, we are the start,
of the story untold within a countless cries.
Halting now, give it up.
I'm sad to think we're done.
I'm scared to think we'll lose it all.
Aren't we suffering far too much?
My time is coming, please come back.


O' dear hear me out, if you don't see then realise.
This is what they call Fate and deaths are what they call Destiny.
Tell me, why you left me mourning over you.


You're the light, I am the shadow.
We're the story untold within a thousand smiles.
I see it now; the beautiful stars you said.
Time is up, I'm with you finally,
in this secret base they call "heaven".
Watch the world comes alive when we start,
watch me fly to the stage with such pride.
We'll walk through endless dreams,
We'll touch the sky every now and then.


Hey, don't you think the pain worth it?
It's over now, no more tears, no more lies....
It's all smiles.
