I muddle on through
Day by day
I try not to worry
I try not to be afraid
My whole world is thousands of miles away.
My heart is not whole
Not even with me
Tis with my loved one over seas
The days turn to weeks
Weeks turn to months
The warmth that I seek in the arms that I love
If home is where the heart is
And my heart now lies with you
Then I am oh so homesick
For the place right next to you.
