3. Where Are We Going?

"Where are we going Reece"?

"I don't actually know.

I'll ask my mum if you can stay

the night at my house".

"Oh, no it's ok, really".

"Well where else are you going

to stay? or do you wanna go back home?"

The word 'home' shocked me.

Would Reece really take me back home,

after everything he just witnessed there?

"Well I've got no clothes or anything."

"We'll work something out. If you want you

can borrow a top of mine or see if any

of my sisters have anything you can wear".

"Ok. What would your parents think?"

"About what?"

'About me staying the night. And what

well happen tomorrow?

"I do have to go home tomorrow, I can't

stay at your place forever".

"Well actually you can if you want?"

Well at least stay till you sought

stuff out with your parents".

Reece looks at me with pleading eyes.

He must really be serious about me

staying till I have my things sorted out.

"Maybe. You do know we have only

really known each other for like 4 hours."

"I know, but I care about you".

It went silent. I didn't know what to say.

He cared about me, but in what way?

We parked outside his house.

Reece was already out of the car when

i was still getting my stuff together.

Reece walked round and opened up the

door for me. We went inside. I heard a soft

voice from behind me. She had brown hair

and sparkling blue eyes. Her cheeks were rosy

red and had a gap in her 2 front teeth just

like Reece. She was wearing a plain white T-shirt

and navy blue jeans.

"Hi mum."

Reece walks over to hug his mum.

"Hi love, who's this".

I answered, " Alexis, Alexis Bennett.

" Well Alexis, how are you?"

"Im good thank-you.".

"So are you one of Reece's friends?"

"Uhhh-"

Reec cuts me off, even though I had nothing to

say.

"Well... she is a friend. And yeah, mum?"

"Yes sweetheart?"

"Is it ok if.. if Alexis can stay the night?"

"Um oh, I don't know".
