After a long day, I sat in the Great Hall in the Slytherin table with Draco, Crabbe, and Goyle. Crabbe and Goyle were sort of my friends, except we only hung out if Draco was there. It was dinner, and finally classes had ended about two hours ago. With my free time beforehand I just studied in the library, I stred to find the Victorian Flower Language translation book but it just wasn't there. I was trying to figure out what Professor Snape had said last year but I couldn't figure it out, there was no book to read off. And if Snape won't tell me, because I could just feel he was hiding something, I should have to find out myself!
Abruptly Draco elbowed me and raised an eyebrow at me mischievously. "Oh goodness what is it?" I asked afraid of what I might hear. "After hours lets explore". He whispered just enough for me to hear. "What?! That's mad!" I whsiper yelled. "This Chamber Of Secrets rumors has become popular around here, even on the first day! it'd be great to find out what's really going on". He whispered intriguingly. "We could get caught! Not to mention, the Chamber probably isn't even real! They just said it was to scare us to not go out at night!" I argued. He rolled his eyes. "We won't get caught, just come on. We can go to the restricted book section". Draco persuaded. I groaned quietly. Draco knew I had been trying to find the Victorian Flower Language book, I pestered him about it all day. He pestered to me about this same ordeal with all my free time today in the library. "You got me there Draco.. alright". I gave in and sighed. "Yes!" He did a victory gesture and smiled at me high-fiving me. "If we got caught im never running around at night with you again!" I implied warningly. He just laughed and shook his head.
I had noticed that every time I would glance at the teachers Professor Snape was looking at me, and once he realized I caught him looking to me he would look away. Strange..
time skip. after hours
"Shhh! They might hear you!" I whisper yelled at Draco. He wouldn't stop talking! I and Draco had been hiding in a broom closet for about 30 minutes after unpresidented hours. It was now 9:00pm. "We should head out now". He whispered. Hopefully student officers finally stopped searching about the premises for students like I and Draco. I finally gave in and nodded to Draco. "Let's Go Y/n".
Short chapter! Sorry, but I upload regularly in the week so don't complain.
