I woke up today. Then I headed straight to the restaurant. "Morning Issei." I said, as I entered the restaurant.

"Hey. What are you doing here? Don't you have school?" He asked.

"Yes bu I didn't get to make breakfast for myself. So can I have some ramen please?" I asked.

"Got it." He said.

"Where's your dad? Is he still out?" I asked.

"No. He slept in. I'm not waking him up. He deserves his rest. He works to hard. So I opened up the restaurant on my own. Aren't I such a responsible son?" He said, smiling cheekily. I rolled my eyes at him. "Sure you, especially when you're making fun of me and hitting me." I said.

"What are you talking about? Also, you hit me too. So what are you complaining about?" He points to me.

"I'm not complaining. You just said that you were responsible, and I was being very sarcastic towards you about it." I smile at him.

He glares at me and hands me my bowl of ramen. "Shut up." He said, turning back around and continued to cook. I laugh and go to eat my ramen.

I little longer later, another customer enters the restaurant. I turn around and see Itsuki. He smiles brightly at me. I smile back at him. "Hey, what are you doing here?" I asked.

"I told Riku to be my alarm clock. She probably slept in. I probably should've gotten someone else to be my alarm clock. I missed breakfast today. So here I am. Can I have a ramen to go?" He asks.

"Sure thing." Issei said. Itsuki comes over and sits down besides me. "Why didn't you just use your phone as an alarm clock? Or you could've have gone to buy one?" I asked.

"I broke my phone. I need to buy a new one today. And I'm just going to end up broke after I buy the phone, so I won't have money for an alarm clock." He said. I couldn't help but laugh.

"Sounds like me." I said, drinking my water. Issei hands him the bag with the container of ramen in it. "Thanks. Wanna walk back together?" Itsuki asked.

"Sure. Bye Issei. I'll see you tomorrow." I said, grabbing my bag.

"Bye. Stay away from boys that aren't me, Daichi, or this kid." He points to Itsuki.

"Will do." I said. We walk out the door and start heading to school.

"He's like a protective brother towards you." Itsuki said.

"Sometimes. That part of him comes once a year at least. But he's usually being a loser and making fun of me."

"I see why he does. You are kinda weird." Itsuki says, poking my cheek. I pout and push his hand away. "That's so mean of you. You're supposed to be the nice guy." I said.

"I'm just kidding. You're actually really cool, cute, pretty, funny, sarcastic, mostly towards Riku and Issei. But I like that about you. All of that makes you weird. But in a good way. Oh, and you're also stubborn. That's another thing that makes you weird." He said, smiling at me. I smile back. "Thanks, I guess."

"You sound unsure."

"I mean, you said nice things about me, but you also called me weird." I said.

"I was joking. Well, for most of it. But don't worry. You're not as weird as Riku. Not even close. I'll ask Riku for a bit of her food, she says no. When I ask you for food, you kindly give me some. Then when I secretly take your guys' food, Riku knows who it is and slaps me right away. When I take yours, you either never know or giggle it out and slap my hand away. Riku's more aggressive when it comes to food." He said. I couldn't help but laugh.

"You have no idea. She can be way more aggressive. Our first year of high school, she tackled a kid for taking away her food. Maybe that's why she doesn't have boyfriend." I said. We arrive at the school and go our separate ways to our classes.
