Miracle Akikawa

Hikaru was still standing in the outfield…the sun was baring down on him…Hikaru now understood what a turkey felt in the oven…. Hikaru took his left sleeve and wrapped the sweat that was trailing down his face. Furuya threw another strike, and Hikaru smiled.

“Good pitching Furuya.”Yuki said

“So you can throw strikes after all!”Ryosuke said

“Keep that up! The batter’s not gonna swing!”Kuramochi shouted

Masuko made a weird grunting noise.

“KILL THEM ALL!”Jun shouted

“Come on Furuya, let’s make brother mad.” Hikaru shouted

Furuya was breathing heavily, but he was feeling strong. He could keep pitching no matter the heat, why, because his teammates believed in him. He threw two more balls and got another out .It was at that moment that Hikaru noticed who the next batter for Akikawa was. ….

‘So, the great clockwork prince is about to make his debut this game.’ Hikaru tough

Hikaru braced himself for this bat…..

‘If I was them I would attack….not give Furuya time to recover…We’ve gotta get ready to move.’ Hikaru thought

Furuya’s first ball was thrown and it was a strike. Seidou’s stands went crazy cheering for Furuya. Hikaru had a bad feeling….Hikaru braced himself, Hikaru glanced at everyone else and saw them bracing themselves….Everyone could tell Furuya was having a hard time.

“We’re right behind you!”Yuki shouted

“JUST KILL HIM NOW!”Jun shouted

“LET HIM HIT IT RIGHT HERE!”Kuramochi shouted

“Don’t worry about the runners!”Ryosuke replied

“Never give up Furuya.”Hikaru shouted

Hikaru felt the pitch and moved for it. Shirasu went for the ball, he jumped down to reach it….however, Hikaru and Jun both shouted:

“DON’T GO FOR IT PLAY IT SAFE!”

However Shirasu didn’t listen to the two and went to dive for the ball. However, the ball barely missed and went farther into the field. Jun ran for it while Hikaru watched the runners closely.

“WHY ARE YOU DOING SUCH A RISKY PLAY RIGHT OFF THE BAT!”Hikaru shouted

“Gotta be kidding me!”Jun shouted

Jun grabbed the ball and threw it to Miyuki hoping for something….but it was too late Akikawa had scored two runs…Hikaru wasted no time looking at Furuya, but Hikaru couldn’t read Furuya’s expression. The next ball Furuya pitched Hikaru and Jun were ready…but luckily Furuya pitched three outs. Hikaru ran slowly in the dugout .When Hikaru made it their Tanba was handing Furuya a cup of water.
