After being molested by her teacher, thrown into a ditch, attacked by one of her peers, told to sleep with one of them for money by her own father, and as a result of all four having a nervous breakdown that led her into the hospital, where police officers came to interview her about #3 on the list - in which she had to lie and cover for one of two of those involved in #3 apart from Jordan - there's only one sensible thing to do the next day.

"I'm with Aiden."

"Excuse me? I called dibs in the car!"

"He actually knows my name."

"I'm friends with his girlfriend."

"I'm her personal bodyguard when he needs me to look after her."

"I share a room with her, Letterman, down doggie, down."

"I don't have anything, actually. But the guy fucks with me."

"Why are you all trying to hop on his dick?" Leo asked with an annoyed expression from the couch across from Aiden and Marley.

"Exactly. There's only one girl I want to-"

"Aiden Matthews!" Marley slammed a hand over his smirking mouth, her cheeks pink.

His eyes were light and teasing though, so that relaxed her considerably. She slumped back down on the couch beside him in their 'lane lounge', watching Bree, Jason, Kelly, Ryan, Sarah, and Tristan in a fierce debate over the three other people who would be on Aiden's bowling team, that Thursday afternoon.

Why? Because like everything else he does, they rightfully assume he's a master bowler and want to have bragging rights.

"Everybody can't get enough of me," Aiden sighed dramatically, his arms both flung across the couch on either side, so he lifted his left one to bend his elbow and put it over his eyes, "It's so tiring being so desirable."

She rolled her eyes while Gabby raised her hands up to gather everyone's attention, "I'm the best friend and Aiden knows my name. I've got a definite spot on the team."

Bree opened her mouth to rebuttal before closing it, and the rest of the group had similar reactions.

"Two spots left." Jason pointed out into the disappointed silence, before everyone was going back to debating again.

Marley snickered watching Gabby type in her name on the keypad where Aiden and Marley's names were already inserted. Leo growled in his throat, "Switch to my team, blondie. I will be kicking his ass."

"Sorry Leo," Gabby shrugged, plopping in beside Marley, "Ethan's coming and we want to be on separate teams."

Marley sat up, "He can be on ours, Gabby." she offered, while Leo stood in her peripheral vision.

"I'm going to get a plate of fries. Just put my name down somewhere." he stalked off and shoved himself through the arguing circle of their friends and through the main hallway towards the food stand.

Marley frowned at his back but Gabby's words redirected her attention, "Whoever wins gets to choose the movie we see at the cinema next Thursday night. There's a documentary on coral reefs and how they're dying I want to see but Ethan wants an action movie."

Marley narrowed her eyes on her best friend, "You two are getting serious. Has he ki-"

"Don't you dare!" She squeaked, her cheeks turning red as she shoved Marley's arm.
