"So what exactly is your plan?" I asked Tina, taking a sip of my coffee.
The weather had only gotten colder in the past couple of days; each day when I looked out my window, it seemed a deeper layer of frost had been created against the glass.
"I"m not going to keep it."
I raised my eyebrows.
"Like, put it up for adoption?"
She shook her head, and the realization dawned on me.
"Oh. An abortion."
Tina nodded.
"I don't think I can deal with raising a child... Like, I didn't know how much it would cost or anything. I had to Google all of that stuff before I told my mom that I wanted the abortion. She wanted me to keep it, because that's what she did for me, but I just don't like the idea of having a kid at my age. I'd get like, the worst reputation."
I took another drink of my coffee to keep from scoffing.
