Forget Me | Completed

Chapter thirteen:

When I woke up that morning the first thing I saw was Brian's face next to mine and his whole body over mine. I felt tingles from where his skin brushed mine.

I couldn't get up because of his weight on me.

I remembered that I had given him twenty minutes to sleep and have slept myself!

What if christina found out?
What will she do?

No it's not like we did something wrong.

Breaking free from my thoughts, I pinched brian hard

" OUCH! What was that for?" He screamed and woke up

" That was for sleeping on ny bed!" I said

" What? Oh. You should have woken me up. "

" I am stupid that's why I thought I should give you twenty minutes" I said

" And slept yourself. Whatever it is but your bed is cozy, I have to give you credit for that' He replied

That's when the twins came running into my bedroom

" NOO" I screamed

They looked at each other and exploded with questions

" What were you both doing?"

" Was he here the whole night?"

I shut them both up and then realised that they could tell mom or worse steven. So I begged them not to tell anyone.

They were not going down without money.
After that was settled, they turned towards Brian who had been quiet the whole time and said to him

" And you will take us to eat icecream"

" I would have taken you anyway" He said ruffling their hair and to me he added " No messing with these kids"

" Ok enough, now get going brian before steven sees you!" I said

He began going through the door

I frantically caught him and turned him towards the window and said
" OUT!"

" I will be back in twenty minutes so be ready" he said

" This is like a movie" Iris and Ivy both screamed

After Brian was gone I turned to them and said
" For the record nothing happened"

They both rolled their eyes and ran out of the room

I quickly got ready and made two sandwiches. One for me and the other for brian.

He came after twenty minutes and smiled gratefully for the sandwich.

We picked christina.

I was quite during the ride feeling like I betrayed christina. But then again nothing happened and it was a mistake.

At school brian came to me when christina had gone to class and asked me not to worry and that it was his mistake. After that we just laughed it off!

After school was over and I was walking with brian and Christina to the car.

Mark was standing there.

Mark the guy who was my best friend. The one who christina and amy always teased me about. I was pretty close to him. He had a crush on me. And I had a little one on him too. But he had moved away and we had lost touch.
Christina and amy both said that if he hadn't moved away, he would surely be my boyfriend by now.

I recognised him and ran toward him. I realised then that I had missed him so much.
He embraced me with a smile.

Christina and brian came then. I broke apart from him.

Christina only shook hands with Mark which made me feel weird about the hug.

Mark had grown up and was looking way more handsome now.

I realised that mark and brian don't know each other.

" This is brian " I said

Mark offered his hand and brian shook it but he had a weird expression on his face then he added

"Sophia's boyfriend"

" Oh" Said mark and looked at me

Why did brian had to say that?

' Mine too. He's my boyfriend too" said Christina

" I heard about that double thing! But I never thought sofia to be the kind of girl to" then he broke off

I felt embarrassed and angry at Christina for dragging me into this!

To change the topic, I said

" How did u come here?"

" Ah came here to catch up with old friends" he said " got only one day though" he added

" We should make the most of it" I said

Brian coughed and said

" We are getting late Sophia let's get going. U guys can meet later."

" I will drop Sophia" Mark offered

" Yeah I will be ok guys"

" Will you give me a minute sophia" brian asked

After we were out of ear shot he said

" What will everyone think! You are my girlfriend!

" People won't notice if for once you don't drop me home" I said

" you are coming with me and that's final" he said

We went back and I reluctantly told mark that I will see him later and added

" Come at my home?"

" Yeah sure" he said with a smile

Later on the drive home, brian told christina why he had taken me aside to talk and all.

When I got home, I quickly did my homework and got ready then waited for mark to come!
I wanted to catch up with my good ol' friend.

The bell finally rang. I opened the door and found brian

" What are you here for?" I asked abruptly

" For the twins, of course! So don't you go having any ideas" he said

Was he jealous of mark?

Then mark came and brian and the twins barely left us alone.

Brian sat between us on the couch making it difficult to talk. When I got up to get snacks and mark came with me, brian came and put his hand around ny waist.

I gave him a look which he ignored.

Due to all this, Mark decided to leave early. I didn't stop him.

When we were at the door. Mark hugged me goodbye to which brian rolled his eyes.
" We will stay in touch" he said

When mark had walked a few steps he turned around to wave goodbye.

Brian pulled me towards him and kissed me right on the lips.
I don't know why but I kissed him back.
I don't have much experience in kissing but it surely was good.

When we broke apart mark was gone.

I asked brian " what was that for?"

But he just shrugged.
