It's Saturday. Sunday. Monday.

"Megan! Hey." Jake says as he matches his steps to mine.

"Hey Jake." My voice sounds dead even to me.

He didn't even seem to notice. "How was your weekend?"

"Fine."

"Good! Mine was awesome. Chase and I pulled so many pranks on this girl there. I think she hated me by the time we left." He laughs to himself.

I am glad he had fun. My weekend was horrible. I had so many nightmares that I didn't even bother trying to sleep last night. Losing some one you love is the worst thing ever. Axle isn't gone forever we have been talking, but it's not the same as hugging her. Smelling her. She smelt like cucumbers all the time. Hearing her laugh, her voice, seeing her smile, I even miss wiping away her tears.

Right now I need Jake more than ever. He is so kind to me. I have hardly known him 3 months and he is already like a brother to me.

"Hey Megan? Earth to Megan..."

"Sorry. what?" I say snapping out of my thoughts.

"You seemed deep in thought." He comments casually.

"Oh yea. Just thinking about Axle."

Just then my phone starts buzzing in my pocket. The adoption agency gave me a phone so they can get in touch with me. George is my service provider, the person who looks after me from the adoption agency they have me and Axle in.

"Hey George. What's wrong?" I say into the phone.

"Megan I am so sorry to tell you this, but legally we can't make your mom move so that means we will have to find a family that will take you in. Either as a foster child or if they want to adopt you"

"I thought Savannah and Oliver adopted Axle and I."

"No they are just a home to put you in. They are foster parents." He voice gets lower and quieter towards the end of his sentence.

"Ok well where will Axle and I be going now?"

Jake's face fell as he heard my end of the conversation.

I was so used to moving that it doesn't bother me that I will be leaving here again. Jake is the only real friend I have and he doesn't even notice when I tell him I am having a great weekend and can't tell I was lying.

"That's the reason I am calling. Not a lot of siblings get to stay together in adoptions. We have to put you some where with or without Axle and right now the only family far enough away from your mom is only willing to take 1 child."

I hang up the phone before he can say any more. I stomp down the hallway towards my locker.

"Hey! Megan! What happened?" Jake runs to catch up with me.

"I don't want to talk now. I will tell you later when I calm down"

At that he takes a step back turns around and walks away.

They can't separate Axle and I. I don't care who they are or what they want. I promised her I would be at whatever house she is going to when she gets out of the health center. I take my phone out and dial the health centers number.

"North-wick park hospital this is Anna, how can I help you?"

"I'm looking for patient number Axle McCartney."

"May I ask who is calling?" Anna asks.

"Her sister Megan."

"Hello Megan, I am sorry to tell you, but she is not allowed to take phone calls at this time."
