🔪Jimin's POV 🔪

I couldn't help but moan as my teeth sunk into the ooey-gooey-greasy-filled-with-calorie pizza,
"hwolyfuckthisisgood"

The painstaking long delivery time and less than friendly customer service had been well worth the wait as I wolfed down my third slice of pizza.
For the entire day, I had run on nothing other than three cups of coffee, half of a breakfast bar, and a sad mint-flavored piece of gum.
But now that it was almost midnight, I felt like I'd not only eat the entire pizza but as well as the box it came in.

I didn't even attempt to stop the loud burp that made its way from my lips, only sending a sad look down to my food baby.
My usually flat stomach had grown into a little round ball of chub and happiness as I sat on my couch blissfully full.

It was a feeling I couldn't have even imagined three years ago.

A grimace passed my lips as I thought back of my past living conditions: My worries of where I was going to be sleeping every night, who I was going to have to sleep with just to survive.
How fucking hungry I was.

I was quick to change my focus. Quickly packing away the leftovers of my pizza into a baggy, I threw the clunky box away and sat my dirty cup in the sink for me to eventually wash. However, once I was done, I couldn't seem to focus.

Out of pure boredom, my eyes slowly wandered to my coffee table. My black eyes looking back and forth between the thick case files and the stranger's iPhone.
I could either be responsible and look through the details of my next job....or,
I didn't waste another second before plucking the stranger's phone from the table.

Hitting the power button, I frowned upon seeing the blank screen.
Nothing.
I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little disappointed, I was actually having fun texting Mr. Lanky-Legs. It wasn't surprising though, it seemed most people turn out to be all bark and no bite.

I scoffed silently as I lolled the device in my hands.
Was he even down there anymore? Surely to God, he must have realized I'm never going to give his phone back....right?

I chuckled at the thought. If anything, the night security will catch him.
Not like that was my problem or anything though.

A smirk tugged onto my lips as I continued to twirl the device in my hands. While it was disheartening that it wasn't his wallet, I couldn't help but feel like I had won something.
I wasn't lying when I said his phone case was nice.

The case was made from matte black leather and embellished by three gold cicadas sewn down the back. By the signature bug and the sturdy quality, I didn't even have to try and guess to know that it was Gucci. Not only that, but the lack of use and stains only meant one thing,
It was brand new.
