Prologue

"Do you believe in fate?" Ashton whispered as he sat on the couch with Luke.

"No. Why should I?" Luke looked down at his boyfriend who had his head on Luke's chest.

"I do.. Don't you think fate brought us together?" The taller boy just shook his head. "I think so. Someone like you would have never talked to someone like me.. it's fate." Ashton whispered even if they were the only one in the large living room.

"Fate.." Luke repeated and thought it all over. "It wasn't fate." Luke stopped for a short second and kissed his boyfriends temple. "It wasn't fate. The hospital walls brought us together."
