A Secret Kept

Crushed

After it shatters on the floor, my friends and I stand there in shock.

I just tear up and rush over to the broken pieces of the compact. Once there, I fall to my knees and pick up the pieces and hold them in my hands.

I open my mouth to speak, but no words come out. The only thing that you could hear from me was crying.

"I'm so sor-" my dad says before I interject.

"GET AWAY FROM ME!" I scream before I get all of the pieces from the compact, and run out of the room.

Time Skip

I'm in my room and I'm crying. I'm not in the best mood at this point.

*Thud*

'Huh' I thought

I go over to my balcony door and see a book on the ground and an animal that seems to be a lion.

I open the door and the thing up.

"Are you okay?" I ask

"Yes. Thanks for asking" it answers

"What's your name?"

"Pop, and what be yours?"

"Charli"

"Nice to meet you, Charli"

We shake hands, or at least try too.

"Nice to meet you too, Pop. Please come in" I say and I let him go inside.

"Thanks Charli. Can you please bring that book inside too" he asks

"Sure" I reply

I pick up the book and head inside. Once inside, I close the door and set the book on my bed where pop was waiting.

"So I take it your Glitter Creative" he says

"How'd you know?" I ask

"Emily told me"

"How?"

"She used the phone charm"

"Of course. So why are you here pop?"

"Because, I sensed something wrong with one of the Glitter Pacts"

"I'll show you it"

I go and get the broken pieces from under my pillow.

Once Pop had seen the broken Glitter Pact, his face went from calm to absolute shock.

"It's terrible, I know" I say as I place the pieces in front of him.

"I just describe what I'm seeing" he states

Just as he says that the girls come in and as soon as they walk in, they come over to say hello to Pop.

"Yes. It's nice to meet you girls again in so long, but there is something important, that I wanted to discuss right now" Pop explains

"What could that be Pop?" Chloe and Lily ask

"The broken compact of course" he says as he points to it

"Right" Kelsey heaves

"What can we do Pop? It Charli can't transform, we might not be able to defeat Nogo" Chloe says

"I know, and I don't know how or if we can fix this"

"Maybe we need to use super glue" Candy said

We just stare at her and giggle for a little bit.

"I somehow doubt that Candy" I say

"I agree" April says and Kelsey nodded

"I agree with Charli, but the compacts can't be broken, and even if they can be broken, they usually repair themselves as soon as they are broken" Pop explains

"But why hasn't mine repaired yet?" I ask

"No clue"

"You're a big help"

"Maybe it just needs more time to fix itself"

"That could be a possibility"

Suddenly, my cat jumped up onto the bed.

"Girls, you need to get going" Night said

"Why?" I ask

"There's a dark zone"

"Really?"

"He's not kidding, there actually is one"

"Where?"

"At the park"

"C'mon lets go"

So we all head go to the park and as soon as we get there, I notice somethings off with Ulric.
