"Who is it?" I ask
"Charli, it's us, your friends" Kelsey answers
"Why are you here?" I question
"To ask you, what Rascal meant" April replies
"I don't feel like talking about it"
"Charli, please. Just let us in."
"Fine. Just give me a moment."
"Okay"
I turn to see if Ulric is still in the room, but to my surprise, he's still in the same spot.
"You ready" I ask
"As I'll ever be" he replies
I go and stand by Ulric. When I do, I tell my friends to come inside.
When they enter, they see Ulric and gasp.
April and Kelsey are furious, Emily's surprised, Lily is confused and Chloe seems to be . . . unreadable.
They seemed to realise that Rascal was right, in a sense.
"Looks like the truth is out" I say with my head down
"Why didn't you tell us?" Emily asks
"I was scared of what you would say" I sobbed
Everyone went quiet.
