Ulric's POV
All of us were waiting outside of her room, and hopefully to hear something from the doctor.
'I hope she's alright' I thought
"Doctor, is she ok?" Her mum worries
"Yes, her condition is stable and still has some fight in her" the doctor answers
We all sigh in relief.
"It's a good thing you lot brought her here when you did. Otherwise . . ."
She pauses
"Things would've been different" the doctor finishes.
Her dad asked if we could go in, and the doctor said we could, but only for an hour.
We thanked her and went inside.
As we all entered, we all went to go and stand around the bed she was laying in.
"This is my fault" I sob
"No it's not Ulric. You couldn't help it" Kelsey tells me
"She was just protecting you" April adds
"I feel guilty" I tell them
"It's normal to feel that way. There's nothing you can do about it now" Chloe explains
"The most important thing, is that you got her here just in time." Her dad says "I'm proud that you helped get my daughter here"
