Leo POV

For a few minutes I sat there.

I sat right where he disappeared.

What happened?

He was taken.

Why?

Because of me.

It's all my fault.

A loud sob came from my mouth. I lifted my hand and cover my mouth as tears streamed down my face.

I replayed what happened in my mind until it was burned into my memory with every single detail.

I wiped away my tears and emptily stood and began to walked to the campfire where everyone sang with joy.

Joy.

It's disgusting. I bet they heard the screams-his screams. I bet they thought 'lol he's gonna die' and they didn't even move. I wanted to hurt them all, but I had to do what had to be done.

"Hey Leo" Percy called out to me, but it was so distant. I just kept waking right into the fire.

It was big that night, but shrunk when I walked into it. I made the flames lift me and I made the flames grow high enough until everyone could see me.

"Leo" Chiron said in a warning voice. he probably thought it was some prank.

"Everyone" I called in a emotionless voice and everyone looked at me weird.

"There has been an attack and I'm sad to say that camper didn't exactly make it." I heard gasps as people looked around and I rolled my eyes.

"It's not someone any of you know well except for the seven so you can calm the fuck down" I usually don't curse so some people were surprised by that and by my non-joking voice.

"Im going to talk to them, but they just want me so don't worry, I just wanted you guys to witness if I die or not." I said with so much ease people looked frightened.

"Shadows we need to talk" people snorted and laughed. I could hear so people say stuff like "shadows?" and "what a stupid prank"

"Valdez!" Chiron said with so much urgency everyone shut up and I knew right then Chiron knew what happened.

Everyone eyes look to the ground as dark substance slithered towards me.

Everyone drew there weapons and Percy, Jason, Piper and Annabeth went to charged, but I threw fire near there feet as a warming. Percy of course put it out, but they got the warning.

I lowered myself into the fire.

"What a smart one, using fire against a shadow I must give you that." the glob shot upwards and made itself into a giant cloud.

"Are you here to take me up on that deal?" he said then the shadow shifted and I saw an image of what happened. Everyone was looking at it. it was too painful to relive again.

"STOP!" I threw fire at them, but it stopped half way and disappeared and they were done by then. they let out a terrible laugh as the vision disappeared and then showed, Nico.
