A sweet dream (O'Donnell x Reader)

Since most of you guys are female Ik you probably won't vote for this... Don't worry... I don't expect many readers for this anyway..

You spent about 3 days at Odd Squad. Everyone you met was nice. Today was your day: Ms O would give you your first case.

"I need you to go to the tubes." Ms O told you.

You nodded.

"Yes Ms O."

As you went to the tubes you were stunned.

A beautiful girl with red hair and 2 ponytails operated the tubes today. You never saw her because she only took over on Tuesdays, and your first day was on Wednesday.

"Hey there." She said, waking you up from your thoughts.

"Congrats on getting your first case." She said, dimples forming on her naturally blushed cheeks.

"Uh.. Yeah... Thanks." You stuttered.

She giggled at your shyness.

"Where you off to?"

You handed her the address.

She read it.

"Preparing to squishinate! SQUISHINATING!" She announced before sending you to the address.

When you came back from the case, you turned to see if she was there.

Thank goodness, it was some other kid.
You felt like her beauty would cause you to act like an idiot infront of the pretty redhead.

"Hi!" A voice said behind you.

You jumped and turned.

It was O'Donnell. She was eating a snickers bar.

"I took a break." She said between her chewing.

"You can leave O'Malley." She told the boy.

He nodded and left.

"So.. You're new right?"

"Right." You answered.

"Want some?" She asked and broke a piece of her chocolate bar and handed it to you.

"Thanks." You said.

As you got the chocolate, your fingers slightly touched hers.

"How long have you been working here?" She asked.

"I've only worked here a few days." You said.

"Do you like it here so far?"

"Yes."

"Good. I wouldn't want to stop seeing you."

You blushed heavily.

"I'm kidding." She said laughing.

You laughed as well, totally embarrassed inside.

Weeks passed by and you and O'Donnell became good friends.

"O'Donnell?"

"Yeah?"

"I don't know what you'll think but I'll tell you anyway.."

"What is it?"

You took a deep breath.
It was time to tell her how you felt.

"Ever since I met you... I liked you. You're such a nice girl and beautiful." You confessed.

O'Donnell's rosy cheeks seemed to be rosier than they used to be.

"Aw. You really think so?"

You nodded.

"O'Donnell?"

"Yeah?"

"Do you want to be my girlfriend?" You asked.

"Yes!" O'Donnell said.

You swung her around and kissed her.

"Well well well." A voice said.

You turned.

It was Orchid.

"Not to embarrass you but we kinda all already knew about your crush on O'Donnell, Sherman. You got all clumsy and stuff when you talked to her." Orchid said.

"Orchid how did you get here?" You asked, shocked.

"Doesn't matter." The sassy little girl answered.

You realized Orchid was right.
You would blush and stammer when you spoke to O'Donnell.

"Well bye bye." Orchid said and skipped away.

"You must've thought I was weird." You told O'Donnell.

"No. It was pretty cute." She said.

You held her hands.

It felt like a sweet dream, sweeter than that snicker bar she shared with you.
