It was a normal day at Odd Squad. Everyone was solving cases like they usually did.

Olympia was cheerfully doing her work as always, sneezing a couple of times but nonetheless continuing to work, humming happily as she did so.

"Olympia, are you sure you want to keep working? You look sick." Otis told Olympia as she typed on her computer. His partner's sneezing and coughing wasn't left unnoticed by him.

"Of course! I love my job!" She beamed, moments after that she sneezed.

"Olympia, it's okay if you're sick. I'll do the work for you." Otis suggested as he tucked his finished files under it's folder."You're sick and you need some rest."

"No it's fine I'm okay-" She paused to sneeze.

"..Otis." She finished her sentence as soon as she finished sneezing. She got up, dizziness suddenly clouding her head.

"Where are my fil-" She trailed off when she almost suddenly lost balance of herself. Otis quickly caught her, giving her support to sit back down.

"I'm okay Otis. Don't worry about me." She assured, giving him a weak smile despite the fact she was clearly sick. Everything seemed to be spinning in her perspective, but she loved working. She didn't want a little dizziness to stop her from working. Otis touched her forehead with the back of his hand, a small blush rushing all over Olympia's face at the action.

Fortunately for her, the blushing was able to be excused by the obvious fever she was developing.

"You're not going to work. I'm taking you home." Otis announced. "I'll be back."

Before Olympia could even protest, he walked away.

He made his way to Ms O's office, explaining Olympia's state to her. Of course, Ms O allowed him and Olympia to leave early and he called his mom to pick them up.

He took the tubes and walked out of HQ with Olympia, carrying her to his mom's car that was parked outside of the building.

Normally, Otis doing such a thing would make Olympia feel flustered- shy even but right now she was sick.As much as she hated admitting it she really was. Her eyes were heavy with sleepiness and she wanted nothing more than to sleep.

Once they got to her house, Otis knocked on her door, Olympia's mom opening the door and rushing to the car to take her daughter inside.

Just to check on her, Otis told his mom he would be back after a while before he followed Olympia's mom as she carried her daughter to her room. He sat on the edge of Olympia's bed, feeling somewhat gloomy as he saw his partner's ill state.

"I hope you get better soon." he says softly, slowly getting up.

"No." Olympia weakly said, quickly grabbing his hand so he wouldn't move from his spot. "I want you to stay."

Olympia squeezed his hand, determined to not let him leave.

Otis blushed for the first time, his chest tightening as he felt Olympia's hand. It was so soft and delicate, if he could he could hold her hand all day.

"Alright." He nodded, his fingers lightly brushing against her hand, letting him feel the smooth skin she had. His wish of being able to hold her hand forever came true as she drifted off to sleep, her grip still as tight.

After a few minutes of enjoying this, Otis was hit with a sudden idea. He gently removed Olympia's hand (since she was asleep it didn't take too much movement to do so) and got up from the bed as quietly as he could. He padded across the carpet underneath his feet and reached for the door, Olympia's eyes fluttered open at the sound of the doorknob being twisted open.

"Where are you going?" Olympia mumbled sleepily, her eyes suddenly closing again. It was obvious she really needed a nap.

"I'm making you chicken soup." He answered her gently.

"You won't leave right?" She almost begged, her heart warming at her partner's smile of assurance that he wouldn't. Way more peaceful now, she said nothing as he left the warm and she closed her eyes to sleep again.

10 minutes later, he came back with a bowl full of soup. He brought the spoon to Olympia's mouth. Olympia was amazed as the taste sank in, it turned out way better than she thought it would.

"You're a really good cook Otis."
She admitted she enjoyed the rest of the soup.

After she finished the soup Otis took the plate and left to the kitchen to put it on the sink and came back with a thermometer.

"You seem to have a high temperature. I'll bring some ice to help you cool down." He said as he read her temperature and left to get an icepack from the freezer.

He's so sweet

Olympia thought.

He may be serious most of the time, but he was also so caring.

After getting the icepack, Otis placed it on her forehead to help her cool down.

A while later, she fell asleep. Otis couldn't help but find it adorable to see Olympia sleeping, the peaceful look on her face, her soft breathing.

He couldn't help but want to feel her soft face. He slowly took out his hand, almost reaching her face but Otis quickly took back his hand when he realized Olympia was waking up.

"Feeling better?"

"Yeah. Thanks to you." She said.

"Well I guess I better leave now."

"Wait." She said.

She pulled him into a hug.

Even though his serious face expression didn't change, deep inside Otis felt like his heart would explode with joy.

For a moment they stared deeply into each others eyes in silence.

"Otis.."

"Yeah?"

Olympia took a deep breath.

It was now or never.

"Otis.. Ithinkthatyou'rethebest partnereverandI'lltellyouthis rightnoweventhoughIfeellikeI'll regretitIlikeyoualotAndnot justbecauseyou'remypartner.." Olympia said extremely fast.

Surprisingly, Otis got all of that.

For the first time, he had a huge smile on his face.

Olympia didn't notice though, she was looking at the floor nervously.

''If you don't feel the same way it's fine.. I just hope we can continue being friends without it being awkward and stuf-"

Her rambling was cut off by a soft peck on the lips.

She couldn't help but smile widely once they pulled away.

"Otis.. Aren't you grossed out kissing me if I'm sick?" She wondered.

"No."

"Well in that case.." She trailed off with a small smirk on her face.

Before Otis could say anything Olympia pulled his tie for another kiss.
