Veterans Day (Oona x Ocean)

Hello guys sorry this took long but here it is (yeah Ik it's late)

Today was Veteran's Day, the day Odd Squad would have a party in order to honor this special day.

"Agents..."

Ms O announced on a sparkly purple stage with her microphone.

"In honor of this day, we will not be solving cases today."

"Instead we will have a ceremony  and any agent that had a relative that passed away to serve our country is welcomed to make a speech about them."

Oona cried.

Her father, who was a veteran,  died years ago in his country's honor but she didn't want to talk about it.

Tears flowed on her cheeks and she lightly sobbed. Olympia noticed.

"Oona are you okay?" She asked.

"My- my dad was a veteran. He died when I was 9."

She said, and then allowed herself to sob again.

This time louder feeling comfortable crying with her coworker and friend Olympia.

Olympia hugged her.

"I'm really sorry." She said with a tear flowing on her face. She felt bad for Oona.

"Do you want pizza?" She said and offered her a slice.

"Thanks."

Oona said as she took the pizza and slowly ate it.

Otis arrived and noticed Oona was sad.

"Are you alright?"Otis asked.

"Yeah.." Oona said.

"Look! Oscar, Olive and Otto came!" Olympia said excited. Her smile then faded.

She didn't want to leave Oona alone, especially at a time like this.

"Go and talk to Olive, Olympia... I'll be okay." Oona assured quietly.

"Are you sure?" Olympia asked softly.

"Yes, you're a great friend, I don't want you to ruin your chance to see Olive again."

Olympia nodded.

"Okay.. If you need anything tell me."

Olive and Otto arrived to their direction.

"Hey Olympia" Olive said.

"OMG she talked to me eeeeeeeeeeee!!!" Olympia squealed.

Oscar climbed down the stairs with Ms O.

"Haven't seen you in some time."
Ms O said with a smile on her face.

"Yeah I really missed you.." Oscar said.

"I missed you too... Want to get some pizza?" Ms O asked.

"Sure I'd like that.."

He answered and grinned.

After everyone ate pizza,
Ms O once again got on the stage before making another announcement.

"We will have a slow dance in a few minutes now You can sit down and watch, if you'd like or find a partner!"

After that Oscar and Ms O grabbed each others hands and danced.

"Come on Otis let's dance!" Olympia said to Otis.

"I don't know Olymp-"
Otis managed to say until Olympia pulled his arm, obviously not taking no as an answer.

"Care to dance?" Ohlm asked Orchid.

"Sure... why not Sherman?" She answered.

"It's Ohlm not Sherman." Ohlm corrected.

"Do you wanna-" Olive was about to say.

"You read my mind." Otto said and swung her.

"Oona do you wanna slow dance with me?" Ocean asked.

"I'm sorry Ocean I'd love to but I kinda feel down."

"Why?" He asked, sitting next to her.

"My Dad.. He was a veteran.. And.. He's-he's not with us anymore."

Ocean looked at her sadly before hugging her.

"I'm so sorry Oona."

"You should find another partner." Oona said.

"No. If you won't be my partner, nobody else will. I'm staying here with you."

Ocean said placing his hand on hers, making Oona blush.

She had a crush on Ocean, so she felt butterflies as they just gazed into each others eyes.

She hugged Ocean and quickly kissed him on the cheek.

Ocean was a bit surprised, but he smiled, feeling his heart race a little. 

"Your father is amazing, for fighting for the country. We're all proud of him." He squeezed her hand.

Oona smiled weakly and nodded.

"Yeah.. I'm proud of him. Thank you Ocean.. For being here for me."

He hugged her and she buried her face on his chest.
