Danny's POV

I have been staring at my target for about two hours now, I still had a window of about another hour before I had to complete my mission. I thought then of the information I was given; everyday, Mr. Rios sits on a bench in  the Villa Borghese park for more than two hours,  to people watch or to meet with his clients.

I actually been watching him since this morning actually. Watching as he said goodbye to his wife and two daughters not taking long though because he had no idea that this was going to be his last day.

I watched as a he drunk his II Caffee Sant'Eustacchio's black coffee which he always took with no sugar. He got the same coffee from the same place every morning around the same time 6:14 AM in the morning.

Today he actually got it 2 minutes later due to traffic. Oh come on I couldn't kill him while he was still drinking his cofee. I had to at least let him finish the last pleasure that he'll have in his life.

I watched as he got up and dropped his empty coffee cup in the bin which was exactly 5 feet from where he was sitting. Then he stood and stared at the scene that was Villa Borghese park at 6:30 AM in the morning.

He actually always sit in my favorite spot in the whole park, right in front of the Piazza di Siena, where people often go to see or ride horses. It was too early and people have not yet lined up yet.

I watched as he looked at the still lake to the other side. I decided now was the time. I was known as 'one shot' around the kingdom and this why the king always sent me on missions like this.

I was merely 5 blocks from where he stood which is the closest I've ever been when shooting a target.

After connecting the silencer to the rifle, I aimed the visor of my .50 cal rifle at his head. I always shot at the head, it provides the victim with a quick and painless death. It just feels like your body shuts down and you just never wake up.

I always counted to whatever age I am before pulling the trigger. I started counting backwards 26-25-24. He went to sit down as I continued my silent counting.

He sat down, picked up his newspaper, and read out loud the headline. 'Uomo vince cinquanta milioni in lotteria'  (Man wins 50 million in lottery). For my children I heard him say. Suddenly he smiled and I could imagine he was thinking about them.3-2-1.

When I raised my head he was already on the floor, blood pouring out of his head. Then I said my famous last line, that I say everytime I completed a mission "Perché il Re richiedeva (Because the king demanded it)"

I took a train from Rome bask to the King's castle in Venice. The ride took about 3 hours and 23 minutes and then I was in Venice, the city of 'love'.

Then I saw Gaston who was waiting for me outside the train station by the blue and black Bugatti Veyron that the King gave me for completing the last mission, Gerardo Mucciarone, a man who sent a letter to the prime minister claiming that he had gotten attacked by a werewolf.

He didn't and was only trying to get attention because a werewolf found out that Gerardo's wife that he was cheating on was his mate. And without much thought , she chose her mate.

"Buon pomeriggio signor Perez (Good Afternoon, Mr. Perez)" he said and I simply waved, content that I was finally back home.

When we reached the castle, before I even had gotten a chance to open the door and before I even got a chance to get out the King's twin brothers were already at the door.

"Buon pomeriggio signor Perez (Good Afternoon, Mr. Perez)" both of them said in unison. They were actually the only ones that can make me smile, who can warm my poor cold heart.
