"I'll be there." Maikling sambit ni Blanc sa kausap niya sa telepono.

Umiwas agad ako ng tingin nung ibinalik na niya sa bulsa yung cellphone niya.

"Let's go." Hinimas himas niya muna yung braso ko na para bang he's trying to make me feel warm on a cold weather.

Tumango lang ako at umuna na maglakad habang sinisigurado niya pang naka-lock yung kotse niya.

Hanggang ngayon wala akong clue kung ano ba ang kakahinatnan naming dalawa. Matagal pa ba kami maghihirap bago magkatuluyan or may bagong babae na naman talaga ang nakiusap kila Chronos para maging match kay Blanc? Malay naman natin di ba?

Malalim ang iniisip ko habang naglalakad pabalik ng restaurant nung naramdaman kong may umakbay sa akin.

"Nag-iisip ka na naman." Saway niya sa akin, he lightly ruffled my hair then squeezed my shoulders. "Sabi ko sa'yo tigilan mo na yan." Mahina niya dugtong.

He led me to the main entrance of the restaurant kaya naman mabilis akong tumigil. Hindi naman kasi kami dito dumadaan mga empleyado. Tsaka nakakahiya, mukha akong basahan.

"I'm supposed to use the door at the back." Pagpapaliwanag ko sa kanya.

"Hatid na kita doon." He suggested pero pinigllan ko siya na sumunod sa akin.

"I can manage. Go to her." Mahina kong suhestiyon sa kanya. Hindi ko na siya pinapormang magsalita at umalis na ako.

Pagkapasok ko sa likod ay sinalubong na ko ni Jacob.

"Chef, nag-assign na muna ako ng mga tao na hahawak sa pasta station. Pwede ka na po munang magpahinga." Nahihiya niyang sambit sa akin.

"Jacob, gusto ko I-maintain mo na yan. Hindi yung ganyan ka lang kapag pinagsasabihan ka." Sermon ko na naman sa kanya. Tumango naman siya at nagkamot ng ulo.

"Yes, chef." Nahihiya niyang sabi.

"Bumalik ka na don." Utos ko sa kanya bago ako naglakad pabalik sa opisina namin ni Mint.

"Oh, tapos ka na?" Bungad sa akin ni Mint while she is typing something on her PC.

"Gumising na sa liwanag si Jacob." I replied then slumped to one of the couches in the office. Feeling ko drained na drained ang energy ko today.

"Mabuti naman, because we have more concerns we need to focus on." Seryosong sabi ni Mint sa akin. I looked at her as fast as the lightning. Jusko, another stress ba ito?

"Bring it." Though I tried to sound lively, exhaustion is palpable in my aura.

"Someone provided a negative feedback on social media, it says here, the staff especially the girl chef is flirting on a customer's man and neglecting her duty. I waited thirty minutes for my food just to figure in the end that the chef prioritized her love life over her customer. What kind of bullshit customer service is that?" Sabi ni MInt. I stretched and placed my feet on the center table, kicking away the wooden vase until it tumbled on the floor. I am not affected by it because of course, one way or another there are patrons here that are very satisfied which can defend us on social media as well.
