Doctors appointment

Jakes POV
I wake up and look over and see Erika beautiful as always. I get up and go to dunkin doughnuts because it's a special occasion. 1st I have to write a note to Erika telling her where I went in case she woke up. I said that I went to the gym (before they moved. Moving soon b4 baby(s) is born). I asked Tessa on the way out to schedule an appointment for us. She said she would so I went to carters and just looked at baby boy and girl clothes. I found this for a boy that I really liked:

I took pics of them and sent them to Tessa.
T: OMG GET THEM NOW!!
J: Ok. Fine! Only for you Tessa!! Rik pics the coming home outfit tho!
T: OK whatevs...

I bought them and went to dunkin doughnuts and went home. Erika was waiting on the couch and came running to me when I got home.
E: Hi Jake!! What do you have here??
J: oh this... it's nothing... just some baby clothes that Tessa MADE me buy...
E: Lemme see then.
Erika looks at the boy one and laughed and saw the girl one and awwed (?)
J: you can pick out the coming home outfit.
E: OOOOOO yay!! Being pregnant isn't so boring as I thought. (No one was home except for Tessa, who already knew...)

Erika's POV
This morning I woke up to no Jake so I got scared but I saw a note and said he was going to get doughnuts... so I got ready and went downstairs and watched TV. I heard Jake come through the door and I jumped on him and he had a carters bag. I asked him what was inside and the most ADORABLE clothes were in there. I have a feeling that I'm having twins,(😉) but I don't know 🤷🏽‍♀️. T said she scheduled an appointment with the doc around... 2:45, so we had about an hour or so before we had to leave.

Time skip(Erika is about... 6.5 weeks in) they checked in and got back in the exam room.

Erika's POV
I got taken back to the exam room and Jake next to me the whole time. Then our doctor walked in..
D: hi I'm Jessica! I'll be your OBG-YN(woman's doctor) throughout this whole experience.
Jessica puts the gel on Erika's stomach and the tv is still off, but Jerika sees Jessica's face change from happy to surprised.
J: is something wrong?
Je: no..
E:can you show me my baby?
Je: No. I can show you your babIES.
Turns tv on and both Jake and Erika are surprised Jake starts crying (I think there was a mix up. Jakes hormones are crazy, not Erika's🤣🤣) but then stopped immediately.
E: Oh my gosh babe, we're having TWINS!!!!
J:Yeah... I'm in shock. When can we find out the genders?
Je: in about 9.5 weeks or so... but come back in a month for your monthly check ups.
Jerika walks to the car and makes out quickly.
E: Babe... we're having twins. You've always wanted twins!!
J: Yeah... I'm shookth AF!!
E: Yeah. I can't tell🙄
J: Shut up babe!
E: HaHa

Time skip to telling team 10
J: TEAM 10 MEETING!!

Everyone gets downstairs...

J&E:We have an announcement
T10: What?!
J&E: Were pregnant!!
T10: OMG!!! We're so happy for you!!
T: HOW MANY E?!
Erika Kisses Jake and and both hold up a # 1.
T: OMG OMG TWINS?! TWINS?!
Erika gives t a thumbs up and continues to kiss Jake.

Time skip to night
Erika's POV still
I got dressed in a Calvin Klein sports bra and booty shorts and Jake got in bed and said...

J: Hey little ones... it's your dad here. I'm so grateful that you guys are mine and I can hold you soon. Be good to mommy! Don't make her fat. I still want to have at least some fun at night.
E: Whatever
J: Ha! Anyways. I love you both and can't wait to meet you!
Jake comes up from my stomach and kisses my lips softly then my forehead. I cuddled up next to him and I fall asleep.
