Daniel's POV (OMG)
I looked at her in the eyes.
"Mahal kita, Kath."
She genuinely smiled at me, showing love and affection.
"Mas mahal kita, DJ."
I looked at her.
"Hinahamon mo ba ako, Bernardo?"
"Aba, Padilla. Nakalimutan mo na yatang mas una kitang minahal."
"So? Anong koneksyon nun?"
"Ibig sabihin, mas matagal na kitang mahal. Kaya mas mahal kita."
"Nako, Ms. Hindi po nasusukat ang pagmamahal sa tagal. Mas mahal kita no."
"Sorry, pero mas mahal kita."
"Isa pang hirit mo, hahalikan na kita."
"Mas mahal kita, gago. End of discussion."
"Talaga lang ha?"
"Oo, mas mah-"
I interrupted her by kissing her softly on the lips.
I held her hips as I pulled me closer. We were now kissing passionately. My right hand traveled up and held her cheek, while my left hand stayed firmly into her hip.
Her hands made their way to my face. Her left hand cupped my cheek, exactly the same as I held hers. And her other hand traveled to the nape of my neck.
I pulled away with a smile on his face.
"I love y--"
Just when she was about to say she loves me, my god damn alarm clock woke me up. I stretched my hand to reach for my phone which was on my side table.
I got up and massaged my head. Bakit pa kasi ako sumama sa party kagabi?
I laid back in the bed and stared at the ceiling.
Bakit napanaginipan ko siya? It's been seven years.
I closed my eyes. Ang sakit talaga ng ulo ko. Napadami yata ako ng inom kagabi.
I got up and went straightly to the bathroom to prepare myself for work.
Work.
Iyan ang unang pinagkakaabalahan ko ngayon. Year 2016, nakagraduate ako ng Management. Agad akong nakakuha ng trabaho, since si Daddy Teddy naman ang may-ari ng Bernardo Enterprises. I started on a very low position, though Daddy insisted on giving me a higher rank.
Since that year, I started working my ass off.
So far, marami na akong naachieve. Naging head ako ng Accounting Department, naging COO. And now? CEO, tol!
Daddy Teddy retired last year at sa akin niya ipinaubaya ang company, since wala naman sa mga anak niya ang nag-aral ng business course.
Si Kuya Kevin, happily married na. Head ng Engineering Department. Ganun din sila ate Kaye at ate Chrysler, housewives.
I don't wanna talk about her for now.
So moving on, dahil CEO ako, dapat lagi akong maaga.
