Stepping off the RV, I gazed up at my apartment with sigh, it was good to be home. I heard Zak's heavy steps behind me as he came down the RV steps in order to help me with my new case that we had picked up on the way home, I said goodbye to my old one by throwing it into a skip.

"I think I'm going to miss sleeping beside you every night." He whispered.

"Sleep? What sleep?" I asked making him snigger.

"Exactly."

I rolled my eyes and fished my keys from my bag and headed up the steps to unlock the door. "You know what I can't wait for?" I asked looking at Zak as he carried my case up with ease.

"Tell me?" He asked.

"My couch. Just having a hot bath, jumping onto the couch and watching crap on TV." I answered. I wanted to lay on my couch, within the soft white cushions and knitted blankets that I paid an absolute fortune for. It was my humble abode. My heaven.. Besides Zak's arms of course.

He closed his eyes and smiled "Now that sounds like a good idea. Was there an invite in that?"

I wiggled my brows "You tell me. Was there?"

We both shared a giggle before I pushed open the door and headed inside with him tailing behind.

"You can co-" I paused seeing my door slightly ajar.

Before I could progress, Zak's arm went in front of me and a gentle push came moving me back. "Stay here." He demanded putting my case down.

I stepped forward slightly as he slipped inside my apartment. I waited and waited until finally my patience ended and I stormed into my apartment ready to cause hell when I paused.

My breath hitched in my throat as I looked around my apartment, my heart breaking as I took it all in.

"Katy. I told yo-"

"Shut up!" I snapped before stepping inside my apartment fully, glass littered my cream colour carpet, my sofa had been torn to pieces and cushions ripped apart with the stuffing thrown across the room. My glass coffee table was no more, just a pool of glass around it's base. My eyes snapped to the table where I instantly realised my laptop was missing, my TV unit was empty, leaving a few leads littering the side as the TV had been snatched.

Gulping, I progressed into my apartment biting at my lip as my emotions overcome me. The kitchen had been ransacked, draws pulled out with such force that cutlery had been spilled across the floor, glasses and cups had been broke, plates also destroyed.

My bedroom had been hit too, the bedding was torn apart, spray paint scrawled across the wall. My wardrobe.. My clothes.

"I've called the police." Zak spoke making me look over at him.

"Okay.. You can head off."

"What?" He asked stepping over broken picture frames.

"I said you can leave. I got this. You must be tired."

"I'm not leavin-"

"Zak! Please. I know you want to help but I need.. I just need to be alone." I stressed raking my hands through my hair.

"You can't be serious.. Katy I should be here." He answered stepping forward. But I stepped away and shook my head.

"Not right now. Please?"

Zak struggled to accept it but eventually he gave in and made his way out. "Call me as soon as the police leave."

I nodded and turned my attention back to my apartment. Who the hell has done this?!
