She Loved Him

She loved him.
She gave him the sun, the moon, and the stars.

He didn't feel the same way.

He kept trying to push her aside.
He kept trying to hide.

He was breaking her heart.
She was falling apart.

She loved him.
She gave him her all.
He made her fall.

She wanted him to love her back.
He was not capable of that.

She loved him with all her heart.
But, out of selfishness, he broke her apart.

She couldn't stop crying.
He wouldn't stop lying.
She'd had enough.
She still loved him, though.

And yet, he did not feel the same way.

She finally left.
It was then that he realised what he lost.
She was torn, and so she crossed,
the street, without ever looking back.
The car hit her and that was that,
for she never returned.

But one thing is for sure.
She loved him.
