Cooper woke up, checking the clock on her phone. 4.13. She looked around the room but couldn't find Aspen. Her eyes widened as panic welled up. She looked around the room until she saw the window slightly open. Cooper looked out and saw Aspen sitting on the roof. A cigarette between her lips. Cooper's eyes teared up, she climbed out of the window and sat next to Aspen. "Those aren't good for you, Princess." Cooper said, a tear running down her cheek. Aspen could feel her chin starting to wobble uncontrollably and tears running down her face. "I-its h-hard, you know." Aspen stuttered, taking another drag from the cigarette, liking the burning sensation in her throat. "T-to trust s-someone and then see them j-just disappearing and all you could- and all I could do was to stand there, in a room with unfamiliar faces!" Aspen yelled the last part. "I'm sorry." Cooper whispered. "I-I trusted you." Aspen said, her hands shaking. Cooper tried taking her hand but Aspen stepped back. "I-I don't want to hear that you're sorry! Everybody's fucking sorry!" Aspen yelled. Cooper wrapped her hands around her. "I never wanted this to happen." Cooper whispered, Aspen crying into the crook of Cooper's neck.
