Rileys POV:
The kids walk in and throw there things on the floor.
'How was your weekend?' I ask.
'Great' they smile.
They go their seperate directions. I go into the kichen and place my phone on the top.
'Mom! Come here!' Lilly calls.
'What is it!'
'I need your help!'
I sigh and leave the kichen and go upstairs to her.
Dexters POV:
I run into the kitchen and pick up moms phone and enter the password. I know her password since I manages to hack her phone one time. She doesnt know so its still the same.
I bring up dads number and text him.
Need your help. Come quick. Lilly has injured herself.
I send it.
Hopefully this will work.
Rileys POV:
I hear the doorbell ring. I answer it and see a worried James.
'What are you doing here?'
'To see if Lilly is okay'
'Shes fine. Why?'
'You text me saying she injured herself'
'I never text you anything'
'What?'
'We text you'
I turn around and see all four kids standing there. I sigh. I should have known it was them.
'You two need to sit down and work this out' Evie says.
'There is nothing to work out' I tell her.
'We'll stay here till you at least try'
I sigh and let James in. He goes into the sitting room and sits down. I automatically feel the tension between us rise.
'We found this' Jack says pulling a black box out of his bag.
'Where did you get that?' James asks suddenly looking allert.
'Your room'
'YOU WENT INTO MY ROOM!'
'Yes'
'Im so annoyed with you! You know your not allowed in there!'
They dont reply. Lilly opens the box and takes everything out and puts it on the table. I look at the things shocked. Its everything that I gave James from the moment we started dating. I glance at James who has his head down.
'Dont you see mom! He loves you! He kept all this stuff for years! You cant ignore it now! Just get back with him!' Evie says.
James looks up at me hopefull.
'No'
He puts his head back down.
'But mom!'
'I said no! I dont love him anymore! And thats it!'
They go quiet.
'You need to leave! Get out! And take your things!'
'I dont want them anymore! You can keep them. Burn them! I really dont care anymore!'
He gets up and leaves.
I turn to the kids.
'How dare you do that! How dare you go through his things and how dare you try to change things! We're divorced and always will be! Your all grounded! Go to your rooms!'
They sadly go upstairs. I look at the box and the items on the table. I get a bag and throw them into it. I go outside and put them in the bin.
Me and James are over.
And they need to realise that.
