I pulled back embarrassed but happy at the same time.
Alexei looked dazed,like he couldn't believe that I just kissed him. His grey eyes were staring intently into mine as if he was looking for something.
I couldn't take it so I looked down.

"We, uhm, we should be getting back" I said staring intently at the ground.

Alexei grabbed me and seconds later we were back in the gym. Kass and Jason were fighting each other in the middle of the gym. Kass was very aggressive fighter while Jason looked like he was.......playing.
Kass launched at Jason. She was going to kick him in the chest, but at the last minute, he grabbed her ankle and slammed her against the padded floor.
Kass screamed in frustration.

"Why the fuck are you playing with me you asshole? Fight me, damnit" she screamed in his face.

Jason laughed and I burst out laughing at the same time. I've never seen Kass so riled up before.

"You need to calm down Kass before you pop a vein or something" I called out to her.

She glared at me with a sour look in her face.

"Where have you guys being anyway. And why are you wet?"

"I- um-We-um-I..." I was a stuttering mess. I didn't want to talk about what happened back at the forest.

"We have to go change" Alexei answered her.

He placed his hand on the low of my back and led me out the door and to the lockers.

Once there, I hurried away from him and towards my locker. I grabbed another suit and ran to the back to change.

Stupid stupid Kat. Why were you crying. And why did you have to kiss him.

I was berating myself. I was so stupid. When I was with Alexei, I feel so weak. I didn't like feeling weak. I was one of the most powerful vampire in the world for gods sake. I stripped off my wet clothes and started to dry off.

If I was honest with myself, I was scared of losing him. Of being alone for eternity. I didn't want to be alone anymore.
I've tried to end my lonely existence many times, but I never really had the courage to go through it.

Don't think about it Kat.

I pulled on the leather suit. The only difference is that the back of this one was open, which made no sense to me because that would leave my back vulnerable. I then remembered the mark. Walking to a mirror, I turned to look at my back and sure enough, it was showing.

Sighing, I made my way towards the gym. Alexei wasn't in the locker room when I got out. Walking into the gym, I saw Kass, Jason and Alexei doing pushups.

"I thought we were going to start with the history today" I said walking towards them.

I could feel Alexei staring at me. I ignored him and arched a brow at Kass and Jason.

"We were. But you guys disappeared so we decided to start with the physical aspect instead" Jason said, wiping sweat off his brow.

I nodded and started to warm up. Walking towards the pressup bench, I heard gasps behind me.

I glanced behind me and saw Jason with a very astonished looked on his face. Alexei looked very surprised too.

"W-who gave you that mark?" Jason asked, taking big strides towards me. "I never knew you were mated to a incubus. No wonder I got this feeling from you". He said the last part to himself.

I was confused. Mated.. Mark.. Feeling. What is he talking about.

"What are you talking about Jason. I'm not mated to anyone"

"Yes you are. The mark on your back is an incubi mark. Mates of incubi gets it once they are mated"

"B-but I didn't mate with anyone" I was very confused. I'm sure I didn't mate with Alexei last night. I wouldn't forget that.

"Yes you did. You didn't physically mate with him but you did mate. His incubi marked you as his. It must have happened when he was feeding from you. That's how the mating of incubi happen. If you consented to the the person feeding from you, especially if he hadn't feed from anyone and was saving himself for you, you gave permission for him to mark you" Jason explained whilst tracing the mark on my back.

Alexei growled when he did that. Jason jumped back, and looked at him. I was staring at Alexei, anger coursing through my veins.

He marked me without my consent??!!

Technically, I gave consent but I didn't know what the hell I was agreeing to. I just knew that I didn't want him to stop. Now look were the hell that got me.

Alexei was looking at me with concerned eyes. I had a feeling he knew I was about to flip.

"Kitty......"he said moving towards me slowly," I can explain"

I chuckled at that. Explain. Wow. To be honest, a part of me was happy that he marked me. That means he want me. I'm upset about the fact that he couldn't have mentioned that tidbit of detail in his note or today in the forest.

Jason looked between the both of us and then it clicked for him.

"Gods. Your his mate"he gasped.
He looked shocked, as if he couldn't believe.

My hands were in a right fist. I was hot all over.

"Kitty i-"

I ran out before he could finish. I needed to clear my head and sort out my feeling. It was all too much too fast.

I kissed him.

Now we are mated.

Its too much.

So I ran till it all seemed less.
