I didn't want to see anyone today.

Currently, I was wrapped up in my blanket in my bed. After I left my mate last night, I ran straight home and into my room. I took a shower and tried not to think about what happened.

It didn't work.

I twisted and turned until about 2 when I heard Kass and Jace come in.

I read a book.

I listened music.

I tried to meditate.

Nothing worked.

All the sensations and him just completely controlled my mind.

Turning over,I screamed in my pillow. Even now, after only three hour of sleep,I still couldn't stop thinking about him.

I loved and hated it.

Still moping, I heard my door open, Kass's scent filling the room. She jumped on my bed and hugged me.

"I'm so happy Kat. You wouldn't believe the night I had" she was bouncing up and down.

You wouldn't believe the night I had either.
I wasn't about to tell her that though.

"Really?" I tried to sound interested.

"Yep. So last night when we were dancing, Lukas came up to me and started dancing with me. And then in the middle of it all,he dragged me away and into the woods and he kissed me" at that,she started screeching.

These dudes seem to have a things for the woods.

"He told me that he liked me a lot and although he didn't know his mate at yet he hoped it was me. I totally wanted to tell him, but I wanted to surprise him. Next week is his birthday"

She was screeching and bouncing again.

I was happy for her. At least things weren't complicated in her bond.

Sigh

"Where were you last night?? You totally disappeared"she said calming down.

"Ahh... Uhmm... I.."

"You??...."

"I kinda met my mate last night"

She screeched and launched at me, both of us falling back on the bed.

"That's great Kat. Who is he and why don't you looked trilled"she was confused.

I was confused. I was trilled. I've waited for him for years but now that I had him, I didn't know what to do with him. We haven't even accepted each other as mates yet.

Sigh. I really want a martini.

"My mate is Alexandrio Ives"

She gasped, a scandalized look on her face.

"The Alexandrio Ives??!!!"

"Yes....." Why was she behaving like this??

"Oh no Kat. Oh no. Oh no" she hopped of the bed and started pacing.

I sat up, curious to her behaviour.

"What is it Kass??"

"We need to go find Jace. This is bad. Really bad"

She grabbed me and started dragging me out of the room.

Curiosity was killing me. I could easily find out what it was by reading her mind but she was my sister and I genuinely liked her so I wasn't about to do that.

We walked down the hall and stopped at the last door. Kass pounded on it and waited. She was mumbling under her breath, but nothing she said made sense.

Evil brother? Hunters? Hunted? What the hell is going on?

Jace opened the door, his hair rumpled and sleep still in his eyes.

"What the hell do you want Kass?he growled.

"We have a problem. Alexandrio is Kat's mate"

Jace went tense and his eyes opened wide.

That definitely waked him up.
