I have a mate.
A blasted mate.
She couldn't have come at a worst time.
I had a kingdom to worry about.
And those nasty assholes that were trying to start a war.
And the fact that the council is soon to be in chaos if Antonio's position is not filled quickly.

Damn... I don't have time for mates.

Fate seemed to disagree though. I felt her presence the moment I
entered the clearing.

Her presence was dark, dangerous and deadly.

That threw me off.

I knew were to find her from the pull that I had to her, but I wasn't ready to meet this mate of mine just yet.

"Hey. What's got you so distracted man?" Lukas clapped me on the shoulder dragging my attention back to him and the annoying twins Jaceson and Jason.

His brother laughed and they both took off into the crowd to look a female to feed off.

"Let's go find Terrence" Lukas said, walking off into the crowd.

In that same second, Terrence voice boomed across the clearing giving a speech about unity and shit.

A new person was here tonight.

Just then, I felt my mates presence ten fold as if she was very near by. I scanned the area and all I saw were familiar faces.

"She is Alberto Dblanc first daughter" Terrence voice boomed through the clearing.
