27. Waiting

Jay's P.O.V.

It was the Tuesday before the band reveal. We had all been hanging out, not to say that the boys haven't been working this week. They have been working on eyes closed, and getting ready to preform on Thursday night. It was around eleven thirty at night, Michael, Chance and I were all curled up in a pile of blankets watching a movie. We were all playing on our phones not really paying attention to the movie on the screen. We were all in our pjs , lounging around and snacking. I was about to get up and grab water when my phone began to ring.

"Hey love." I said answering 

"Hey baby girl, the boys and I just got done at the studio for today." Jack said

"Thats great love, but I'm already in my PJs I am not going out tonight." I said

"is it cool if i come over then?" Jack asked

"Yeah of course." I said

"Good cause I was already on my way." Jack said

I just laughed.

"okay love , I'll see you when you get here." I said

"See you soon baby girl." Jack said hanging up the phone.

I walked to the door and flipped out the dead bolt so that the door was propped open. Then I went back to the bed and crawled into it curling up in my pink blanket. The boys were curled up at the end of the bed with their backs to each other, each rapped in a comforter from the hotel beds. About ten minutes after Jack had called he was walking through the door of my hotel room.

"Jack Avery!"  I shouted startling the boys, "It takes at least forty five minuets to get here from the studio. Were you speeding??" 

"I was not speeding!" Jack said, "I was already half way over here then I realized that I should probably call you cause you might be asleep."

"that was smooth." Michael said, "Honestly something I would do though." 

"Oh you have kids in here." Jack said noticing the boys who were practically consumed by blankets.

"Yes I have kids in here." I said, "Now come here and tell me about your day."

I raised up the blanket inviting him to lay down with me. He walked over and crawled on the bed over to me.

"You didn't tell me that there were kids in here." He said rapping the blanket around himself

"They are always in here." I said

"When are we not in here is the real question." Chance said

 Michael laughed, "Truuuuee."

"How was your day love?" I said

"It was good, Long but good." He said

I smiled, "Thats good." 

He smiled back at me, "Yeah how was your day?" 

"It was pretty good." I said

"Thats a lie, she started crying while picking out clothes today."  Michael said

I kicked Michael.

"Listen here buddy just cause I was crying doesn't mean that I didn't have a good day." I said

"aww babe what were you crying about?" Jack asked

"It was nothing." I said

"It was nothing, I was fine." Chance said mocking me.

"okay Chance suck a cock." I said

"jokes on you, I already did." Chance said

I just sighed as Jack laughed.

"I am going to have to deal with these shits for the rest of my life." I said

"Maybe not." Michael said

"If you two don't make the band then something was rigged." Jack said

"The whole show was rigged." I said

"Really?" They all asked

"Oh yeah." I said

"How?" Chance asked

"one time I accidentally stumbled into an architect meeting and they were picking the boys who they were going to put up for elim a few days before the show." I said

"Are you kidding?" Michael asked

"I wish that I was, but I am serious." I said

"That is crazy." Jack said

"Do you have any idea who is going to end up in the final band then?" Chance asked

"It is more like who isn't going to be in the final band." I said

Michael and Chance were now staring at me in shock.

"Who..?" Michael whispered quietly.

"Michael... I don't .. I shouldn't tell you" I said

"Its me isn't it?" He said

I just stayed quite knowing if I told one they would tell the other boys what had happened.

"oops, we got all we can out of her." Chance said, "She has shut down now." 

I glared at Chance, he just smiled back at me.

"Stop asking me questions that you boys really don't want the answers to." I said

"gotcha.." Michael said

"Now I feel bad!" I said

Jack just laughed.

"That is why you aren't supposed to tell people what you know." Chance said.

"Okay yes but I thought maybe you guys should know." I said, "Just not you know, everything."

"I know who it is." Chance said, "If it was us not making the band you would tell us. I know exactly who it is."

"Then you better keep your mouth shut because I am so close to the job with the final five and the last thing I need is to get fired cause I told you what I learned from being somewhere where i should not have been." I said

"Oh shit." Michael said, "No. No way. I know who it is. There is no way."

I just nodded my head, Michael shook his. 

"I can't believe it." He said

I shrugged. It sucked that the whole show was rigged, but at least the band would have a good outcome.
