Chapter Fifteen

Ava's POV

Lord Gothwell held the ring in and gazed at its gold and crest..

He was against us all along!!

I tried screaming..
"Oh don't bother young Ava. You all might not know but these walls are soundproof" He said and cackled..

"What are you gonna do with that ring?"

"Some thing I have been waiting a long time to do"

"And that is?" I asked trying to sound brave though the two men that held me down were deepening into my skin by the minute..

He smiled at me evil like and walked towards the strange door that I have never seen opened..He twisted the crest on it and it opened up..

Walked in was a beautiful lady..all crested in great shapes and figures..she had hard cheek bones that good give a cut with just the slightest touch..

She swayed in gracefully like the world was at her mercy..

"Gothwell" She addressed him

"Queen Elena"

I gasped..

Could this be my mum?
Like my actual mom?

"Oh there she is" she said swaying up to meet me.

I bowed my head not wanting to meet her eyes..

She finally came up to he and placed her bony hands on my jaw and raised it up..

She smiled evil like and stared into my eyes..

Millions of questions were flooding through my minds..thoughts..

But all that could come out was 

"I thought you were dead!"

She giggled which was very not evil like..

"Gothwell..you didn't tell her about me" she said and darted her eyes to meet Gothwell..

"I told her what you asked me to tell her my queen" He said and bowed his head.

She put her focus back on me..

"You see Ava..am alive..always have been"

"Then why weren't you there for us"

"I had work to do"

"You were working for 17 years!"

I practically yelled..

"If you are alive then that means my brother is to" I gasped letting out the words 'my brother'

"Oh..you haven't met him"

"Met him? I don't know him"

"Gothwell!!"

"Yes my queen"

"Hand me the ring"

"Of course my queen"

With that he came over to her and handed her the ring..

"Lord Gothwell..How could you?"
I said when he came by me..

"Am so sorry Ava but I really needed my freedom"

"You freedom?"

He just gave a nod and walk by..

After 2 minutes..

Eve walked in

"Umm Ava..you done..what's going on?"
She said with her jaw dropped..

With that she left the room..
