Messiah POV

When she called me, it felt like I was dreaming. I called the crew, I knew this wouldn't be a job for just me. I had to play it smar,t and not react off of instinct, something I was always doing.

She sounded different, not like herself. But I knew she was okay, she always was and always would be. I had walked the front desk of the hospital when I got there, they told me she was being discharged today, but they also wouldn't allow to go back and see here. I was on my way to sit down and think about my next move, that's when I spotted Beno. How he get here so early? I thought to myself.

"I was in the area." He told me while standing up, almost like this nigga knew exactly what I was thinking. He stuck his hand out, ready for me to dap him up. I looked at him for a few seconds before dapping him up, something about him was off, but I didn't have time for that right now, I was more worried about my lady than this dragonfly head ass nigga.

"They won't let me back there to the room they have her in, I might just wait 'til the rest of the crew gets here and light this whole waiting room up, they got me fucked up if they think I'm just going to sit here." I was getting madder and madder just thinking about the whole situation. I knew I didn't always treat her as well as she deserved, and sometimes I took her for granted, but Lord knows if I ever lost that girl it would break me. I'd blow the world up if that meant I got to keep her in my life.

"Let me go talk to the girl behind the counter, she fine anyway," Beno responded while standing up and dusting off his clothes. This man got a whole family at home, but I'm not one to judge. After about 3 minutes he waved at me to come up to the desk, whatever he said worked because the worker was phoning to one of the nurses to unlock the door.

When I walked through the big double doors, some nigga was reaching out to grab her arm, I don't know why he was even about to touch her, he needs to take his big face ass on somewhere.

"Don't touch her," I said while rushing over to Aaliyah. She looked like she saw a ghost, I turned around and saw that she had her eyes locked on Beno, I made a mental note to ask about that after everything calmed down a little bit, I'd hate to have to kill him, but I wouldn't hesitate and he knew that.

"Messiah. Oh my God." She hugged me, and at that moment, it felt like everything would be okay. I broke apart from her and wiped her tears with my thumb.

"You okay? What are you doing in this hospital?" I asked her with my eyes immediately going to her stomach.

"Everything is fine, can we go? Please?" She sounded so scared, almost as if she didn't even feel safe with me here. I had to know what was going on and quickly.

"Beno, can you walk my lady to my car, please? I'll be out there soon, I got a few phone calls to make." I said to my worker Beno while tossing him my car keys. Aaliyah grabbed onto my arm while her eyes grew wide, its like she was trying to tell me something but not wanting to say it out loud. I was about to say something but Beno spoke up before I could.

"Yeah sure thing boss, let's go, Miss Aaliyah." He told her while walking away from us and towards the same doors that we came in.

Beno POV

Man I hope this doesn't blow up in my face.

"I don't think I have to threaten you for you to not say anything, you not dumb." I said to her while she walked ahead of me, of course she ignored me. That's cool though, I didn't need a response, she heard me and I know she did.

Man, Messiah need to come on so I can leave. Not even trying to be around this hoe.

Aaliyah POV

I want to tell him, I want to tell him everything. But is it the right thing to do? I don't want to put him, myself, or our baby in any more danger than we're already in.

My mind was going a million miles a minute, a voice snapped me out of my thoughts .

"..You not dumb." Beno said, finishing up whatever statement he was making. I didn't have the energy to respond to him nor go back and forth with him. I just wanted to go home.

We got to Messiah's car and I quickly hopped inside after unlocking the door with his keys. Before Beno had the chance to get in too I locked the doors again from the inside. He pulled the door handle and once he realized it wasn't open, he then knocked on the passenger side window. But not before giving me a scaring look, almost as if he was warning me to not play with him.

"God help me." I spoke aloud while slowly reaching for the inside lock, trying to take as long as humanly possible. I looked up and saw Messiah walking towards the car and sighed with relief.

They stood outside of the car talking for a bit, both occasionally looking up at me through the car window. I wanted to roll the window down a little bit, just enough for me to hear what they were saying, but it would be too noticeable. Messiah finally got into the car a few moments later after dapping up Beno.

"What were y'all talking about?" I asked him as soon as he sat down. He looked over at me and started laughing.

"Dang, can I start the car first before you start asking questions? I'm the one that needs to be asking questions right now anyway. Where were you Aaliyah? Do you know who it was? Tell me everything."

I stared off into space, thinking if I wanted to tell him or not. Was it worth it?

"Can we talk about that later? I really just want to go home." I managed to choke out, trying to keep from crying at the thought of what happened, and what's still to come. This wasn't the end, and eventually someone was going to die, I just hoped it wasn't anyone I loved.
