Chapter 1

Naina

"Naina,wake up beta", mom said slightly shaking me
"Maa, five more minutes, its only 6:30 na"I said
"No come on wake up, I know If I give you five more minutes, you'll get late for your college,come on now get up", mom said and walked away for me to get up

I got up from my bed, got freshened up and decided what to wear for my college as it was the first day of my college so I should look good.
As it was monsoon season so i decided to wear jeans and a rolling stones t-shirt and shoes because they save your feet from getting wet.
I got dressed and walked out of my room for breakfast. I greeted everyone at the table
" Maa.. What's for breakfast? " I asked entering the dining room.
"Oh! look sleeping beauty is awake" my younger brother Aarav teased me
"Shut up will you" I said irritatingly
"Aarav stop teasing your sister" dad scolded him.
I showed my tongue to Aarav
"Papa see, now she is showing tongue" Aarav whined. Mom came from kitchen with breakfast and scolded both of us and asked us to finish our breakfast.

"So, how are you going to college today?" My older brother Karan asked me
" I don't know, maybe bus or metro" I said further adding, "Why are you thinking of driving me to college" I asked happily.
"What! No way" my brother exclaimed.
"You know na traffic of Mumbai and that too in monsoon there is no chance I'm dropping you to college n Btw your college and my office are on opposite side. So no" he said
"You know you can simply say no to me that explanation was not necessary and you are the boss so I thought that you can go to office late. Where is Anaya?" I asked
"l'm here" she answered
"Where were you?" I asked
"I just came back from running" she said catching her breath
"Ohh..Maa you woke me up so early its only 8 and my college stars at 10" I whined
"Glad you are up early or you'll be late as you always get" mom said and I gasped at words " I don't always get late Maa" I defended.

"OMG! Naina is that my t-shirt that you are wearing" Karan bhai asked surprisingly
"Yaa" I said eating my breakfast
"Where did you get that? I was searching for it everywhere?" He asked
"Bhabhi gave it to me" I said
"Karan that t-shirt does not fit you anymore and it also looks good on Naina" Bhabhi said coming from kitchen with Karan bhai's breakfast
"But Kritika, that was my favourite t-shirt you know na" bhai whined
"Shut up Karan that does not fit you anymore, so get over it and buy a new one" she said handing him his breakfast.

This what happens everyday at breakfast
"Aarav, Anaya don't you have college today?" I asked
"No di, our holidays are extended by one more week due to renovations. It will start by next week" Anaya said who was food fighting with Aarav
Anaya and Aarav are twins so they get pretty much together sometimes
"Okay! Now both of you eat your food and don't fight with food" I scolded them
"Yaa di" they said in unison
I finished my breakfast and got ready for my college
"Okay bye Maa" I said kissing her cheek and same with Papa
I hugged bhai & bhabhi and high-fived Aarav and Anaya

By the time I exited my building it was 9 so I time to go to starbucks for coffee as I waited for my coffee I called my bestfriend Aditi to check hse was awake or not
"Hello" she said in sleepy voice and
I guessed it right.
"Madam, why are you not awake yet?" I questioned her, raising my eyebrow though she can't see me.
"Naina, its Sunday why are you calling me so early?" questioned
" Oye, its Monday and today is the first day of college. So get up and get ready fast you'll stilloo have time to reach college in time"
"Ohh freak!" she exclaimed "I totally forgot about that. Thanks for calling me, Bye see you at college" She said and cut the call before I could say anything.
I got my coffee and exited starbucks. I was not looking where I was going and I ran into someone's hard chest and dropped my caramel frappuccino over them. Man I wasted my frappuccino." Shit! I'm so sorry I wasn't looking where I was going and I was lost in my thoughts." I said shyly
"Are you Blind?, Can't you see where are you going?" the person exclaimed
"I said I'm sorry"
"Your sorry won't fix my shirt" the man said wiping his shirt.
I was not looking at the man but his voice was husky and sexy. When I looked up, OMG! he looked like some greek god, So handsome, Charming his hair were perfectly gelled and his face was perfectly shaved. He was so tall, that I was literally drooling
"Are you done checking me?" his voice did something weird sensation in my stomach, I don't know why it was happening
"Ye..What? No I was not checking you"
" Then what were you doing?"
"Nothing, I'm sorry for ruining your shirt, here have some coffee" I handed him money.
"What! I can't have them" he exclaimed
"Please have its the least I can do for ruining your shirt" I insisted
"Okay, But you will have to come with me for coffee" he said
"I can't I have my college and I'm getting late. Better luck next time" I said
"At least tell me your name?"
"If your luck is good and we'll meet again then I'll tell you my name" I said
"Goodbye mister have a nice day" I greeted him and walked away.

Damn Naina you just missed a chance to get to know a hot guy, but guys like him already have girlfriend.
With thinking of that I reached my college

"Hey Adi" I greeted my bestfriend
" What happened to your mood?" she asked
"Nothing yaar...just dropped my coffee on someone" I said sighing
"So, was that someone handsome?" she asked curiously
" Yes, he was and there is no chance that he was single. By the where is Sid" I said
"He is not coming. You will be seeing him next week. As he is caught up with flu,Come on lets go to class I don't to be late" she said trying to change my mood
Siddharth Mehra my other best friend and Aditi's cousin.

We were sitting in Canteen because we got a free period. Then I heard someone calling my name it was Rohan.
Rohan is most popular guy in our college all the girls from our college drool at him. I mean he is good looking but he is not my type. Rohan is trying to hit on me from the starting of the college but me being me I everytime turn him down. He never understands the definition of No.
"Hey Naina" he said
"Hey Rohan" I greeted him back
"So, What are you doing this friday?"
See this what I'm talking about
"I can't Rohan, I have work to complete " I said
"By the way, I'm free where do you wanna go?" Aditi asked
"I asked Naina, not you Aditi" he said to Aditi
"Are,whats the difference in Me or Naina?" she asked
I was laughing at there conversations this what always happens when Rohan asks me on date. After we completed our other classes and the college ended. The first day ended well.
"Bye Naina, see you tomorrow" Aditi said hugging me
I wished my goodbyes to her and walked my way to station and got home.
"Maa , I'm home" I called her
" Oh dear, you look so tired" she said caressing my face
"Yaa Maa" I said tiredly
"Come on get freshen up, I will serve you some snacks"
I got freshened up and was eating the snacks and telling maa that happened with me today at starbucks and also telling her how Rohan again asked me for date. My parents had love marriage so it was always easy for me to talk them about boys and all. Karan bhai also had love marriage and he loves bhabhi so much. I also want someone to love me as much as bhai loves bhabhi.
"You know, there are new neighbour that got shifted today" mom said disturbing my thoughts "They have two sons and a daughter who is in London. We have invited them for dinner on Saturday" She said
" Ohh thats great" I said
I finished my snacks after that I completed my work, and had dinner. I wished everyone goodnight and headed back to my room.

"Good night, Mr. handsome" I said and dozed of dreaming of that person.
