C h a p t e r 65 ;)

• Emily's POV •

I made my way downstairs for lunch, I walk of to the refrigerator to make myself a sandwich, something small.

"How your doing?"

I heard Matthew say and I looked up at him

"I'm fine, you know. Making a Sandwich, want one? Their pretty good"

I say and he chuckled

"Nah I'm fine, I just got a taco's earlier"

He said and went to the living room and sat down

I stop what I'm doing by the door opening to see Jack walk in with Laura in his arms asleep and Carter comes in with two bags in his hand. I walk up to Jack to get Laura from him

"She's asleep"

He said and I nodded I was about to get her until she just jumped on me which did make me jump and she was laughing

"I tricked you mommy, I'm not asleep"

She said and I nodded

"I can see now"

I said and she laughed more

"Oh, mommy look, my friends in school got me birthday presents for my birthday tomorrow! But I'm not going to school like you said"

She said bringing the bags that Carter had

"Look, I have..."

She said whispering numbers and pointing to each little bag that's inside

"7 birthday gifts!"

She said and I smiled

"Wow, you excited for tomorrow laur"

I said holding her little hands

"Yeah mommy, I can't wait, I also can't wait to eat the cake!"

She said and I laughed

"Of course that's the best part for a birthday party"

I said and her nodded with a smile

It was night now and I was in my room getting ready for bed until I heard footsteps

"Mommy?"

I heard Laura say and I look over to see her by the door

"What happened? Everything alright"

I said with my arms out sitting on my bed and she came to me and I sat her on my lap

"Mommy, when can I see daddy?"

She said looking up at me and I down at her and just the thought of that my eyes got watery but I hold in the tears
