c h a p t e r 2 2

It's been 5 days in the hospital I'm tired of sitting in the same spot, I want to stretch my whole body but I can't, it's was really annoying both of the Jack have been seeing me for awhile but they always end up leaving, ehh. It's not like it's the end of the world. Then I heard a knock

"Emily, great news"

My doctor said and I smiled

"You will be getting out of here tonight"

He said and I sighed of relief

"Finally I'm going to be able to walk again"

I said and we laughed

"Well you can get up right now and get your things ready"

He said taking the needles off me. Once he did he left the room and closed the door for I can change. I walked up to the small closet that was in the room and I the clothes.

I finished changing and I was putting my shoes on and then I heard the door knock and open but I didn't bother looking up

"Hey-oh leaving already...?"

I heard Johnson say walking inside

"Yeah"

I said getting up and looking up at him, he was looking right in to my eyes, he was trying to smile but he didn't

"Well, imma leave. I'm done with this place"

I said walking out of the room in my phone

"I can take you home"

He said and I shook my head

"Nah, I got a uber"

I said showing him my phone screen.

"Right on time"

I said getting in the car not bothering saying bye.

I was so worried about her, I was scared about what can happen, she left with an uber and I just stood there looking at the car leave and I went to my car.

I got in it and I sat there for awhile. What happened to the Emily I knew before, the funny one, kind, helpful, caring and and more. I know that she's not herself. She changed once G told me what happened a couple days ago. He's all good now, I'm just so worried.

I got to my house where Jack was waiting for me.

"Yo, took you long enough"

He said getting a slice of pizza. I was supposed to go get that instead of going to the hospital

"Sorry man, I went to the hospital right now"

I said and he stopped eating

"Oh..is she alright?"

He said, like he didn't really care about her

"Yeah, she got out."

I said

"And you didn't bother taking her home"

He said and I shook my head

"No, first she didn't want me to and second she had already gotten an uber"

I said eating my pizza and so did he. Today isn't so productive like I planned it to be...

It's was night and I decided to go over to Emily's house if she would even let me in, I doubt it.

I parked outside her house and walked up to the door. I knocked and the door swung open fast that caused me to jump, I saw Emily with puffy eyes and she just came up to me and hugged me without saying anything.

"Hi to you to"

I said

"I'm sorry Jack"

She whispered then started to cry and she got on her knees

"Hey, what do you mean? You don't have to be sorry for anything"

I said getting down on my knees to moving her hair out of her face

"Yes! I missed things up now. I changed, I feel different, I broke us up. I probably even broke Jack and I friendship, he probably even hates me"

She looked up at me crying and I pulled her in for a hug

"It was an accident, everyone misses up. And we're still friends, and Jack isn't mad at you. He's fine"

I said and I pulled her up to stand up

"Come on its cold out here"

I said and we walked in. She sat on her sofa and I saw a blanket next to her so I put it over her and I sat next to her. She put her head on my shoulder and I rapped my arm around her

"I'm still sorry"

She said looking up at me

"It's fine Emily, don't worry about it"

I said and we stayed there for awhile until she put her head on my shoulder once again and she fell asleep.

I took her to her room and I put her under the covers and I moved a piece of her hair out of her face and I smiled a bit

"I love you Emily, always know that,"

I said and my eyes got watery, can I really do this now..I don't want to, I'm just going to feel bad, if I do it...

"I-I'm...nevermind. You don't need to hear it yet,"

I said and I felt a tear come down my cheek and I smiled at her

"Bye Emily"

I said and I got up and left. I can't do this now, it's to hard for me she just came back home, I just don't know what to do....
