I was with her
When you broke up with her
And I could see
The exact moment her heart broke
The second before the tears started coming
The second before she collapsed
She just looked empty
And it took me back to when you broke up with me
And that emptiness
That I felt for the first time that day
The emptiness that has become so comforting
But seeing her break
Broke me out of that emptiness
So now I've called you up
Begging to have you back
Because I can cry again
I hadn't cried in months
Almost a year
Because I was out of tears
I was empty
But seeing her heart break
Broke the emptiness in me
And I wish I could have it back
Because I can barely see to type
The tears are clouding my vision again
But I don't mind
Because
All I really want to see is you
