Neither Niall nor I had much experience in hand combat. Niall could take down any given bully in District 5. But it would be different here. It would be different against a Career tribute.
The only advantage that we had was with food. We were excellent gatherers. That's how we'd be able to survive.

Our mentor was Jaz. That's what she told us to call her. She won the Hunger Games because she was innovative. She won because she outsmarted the others. We could get a lot of insight from her. Because as of right now, that's all that Yazz and I had going for us.
