"..And how are things going with you and Harry?" Rosie's mum asked.

Rosie had facetimed Bella, now she was catching up with her mum. Even though she's loved the experience and exploring St Lucia, she also missed her mum and best friend.

Her talk with Bella had consisted of Bella grilling her on everything to do with Harry, wanting to know every detail of every movement she'd made since she arrived. Bella also filled Rosie in on Jonathan, a new guy she had started dating. She asked for double dates when they were back from St Lucia.

"It's going fine, honestly. It's been such an amazing holiday so far and we've both just been so happy spending time together,"

"I was sceptical," Her mum admits. "I kind of wanted to say don't go, keep you here. But that's just the selfish protective side of me. It's your life and your choices and I trust you to make the right ones."

Rosie smiled, happy her mum wasn't the judgemental type or interfering parent. "He's changed, but all for the good. We haven't argued, we've just had a great time together."

"Good, I'm glad. I want you happy, you deserve nothing but happiness."

"Thank you," Rosie smiled. "I miss you,"

"And I miss you, but I'll see you soon. Enjoy your time there, when do you come back?"

"Five days,"

"Take it all in then when you're back we'll have a girly night,"

Rosie nodded. "Definitely. Love you,"

"Love you too,"

The mother and daughter blew kisses through the monitor and said their goodbyes.

"I can't do it," Rosie sighed in frustration.

"You can, stand back up."

"No," Rosie sulked sitting in the shallow sea, fed up.

"Rosie," Harry leaned down offering his hand for her to grab. "Come on,"

"I can't balance on the board, there's no point."

Harry rolled his eyes. "It's just a surfboard, now get on up and try again."

"No,"

"Didn't have you down as a quitter," Harry muttered.

"What?" She narrowed her eyes at him.

He shrugged. "Backing out because it's hard,"

Rosie stood up. "I'm not backing out I just can't do it,"

"So let me teach you,"

She huffed taking his hand and standing back up. "Fine,"

They spent the next twenty minutes battling with the surf boards, well - Rosie battling with the surf board. Harry was great at it, obviously. But Rosie wasn't, at all.

"I'm probably too big to balance on such a flimsy board." She announced happy to just lay on it and float, her feet buried in the sand so it didn't drift out.

Harry rolled his eyes, laying on his back on his board. "Don't be ridiculous, you're not big at all."

"I'm a lot bigger than most girls,"

He turned to look at her, wondering if she was actually serious about this, and she was. "You're not big at all, whenever I think about you the last thing I think is big."

Rosie sighs. "I've never been bothered, it's just something I know. I train to keep my body healthy and strong but I know I'll never be stick thin,"
