Daniel's POV:

As I watched her leave and do whatever she needed to do I couldn't help but smile.

"Yes! After all these years she's finally mine" I mumbled to myself as I jumped up in cheer.

As I've said before...she is my literal everything and I couldn't bare the thought of her not liking me back. I loved the feeling I got whenever I hugged her...it felt like I was holding my whole world in my arms. I couldn't help but smile for the rest of the time looking like a laughing fool.

Amberle's POV:

I stood there is shock and silence after Jonah just confessed his feelings for me.

I scrambled to form the words, "Jonah," I paused for a second, "Daniel just confessed his feelings for me...."

I watched Jonah's face wash over with pain as I mumbled the words I know he didn't want me to say.

"Oh, I understand" he said as he started to walk away.

"Jonah wait!" I tried to call after him but it was too late.

Ugh! The only problem with this is that Jonah is my friend...I don't think I like him in that way. I walked back to find Daniel and I know he sensed my confusion but he respected my privacy and didn't ask about it.

The whole car ride home was dead silent between the three of us. Daniel took it upon himself to tuck me in and make sure I fell asleep.

"Goodnight my love" Daniel said as he kissed my forehead.

"Stay..." I said barely above a whisper, I was surprised he heard it.

"Of course" Daniel said as he crawled into my bed with him.

I snuggled up close to Daniel and fell asleep in his arms and when I woke up I was surprised to see that he stayed all night. I tried to get up to start my day but I felt his arms tighten around me.

"It's your turn to stay" he mumbled.

"Daniel....I have to get up" I said.

"No you don't, just 5 more minutes" he said with his eyes still closed.

"Fine, but only because I love you" I said as I snuggled back into his arms.

I saw him smile before he drifted back into sleep. He looks so peaceful, he really doesn't deserve my secrecy but yet I don't want to tell him anything because I know he'll get mad. Jack bursted into the room less than 15 minutes later.

"Amberle! Amberle!" he said before he saw that Daniel was in my bed. "Oh...I'll return later" Jack said as I saw his face flush red and he started to retreat.

"No, no what is it?" I said as I looked over to Daniel to see that he was awake. He's adorable when he wakes up...

"I have some terrible news" Jack said as I slowly sat up.

I rolled my eyes and thought what could possibly be worse than having to tell Jonah I don't feel the same.

"Just spit it out Jack so I can go back to sleep" Daniel said.

"The publicity act was revealed..." Jack said as I saw sympathy flash in his eyes.

"What?!?" Daniel said as he sat straight up.

I was too mortified and shocked to say anything...the thing I feared most happened.

"Some anonymous tip released everything to Cosmopolitan, People, Insider...etc. Everyone knows the truth" Jack said as I saw Daniel put both hands over his face.
