I did finish this dialogue! Hurray!

As a note...:

The first proper conversation between Dreadwing and Soundwave was long ago (Chapter 29). Honestly, even I had to reread it so not to miss the main parts... So you may or may not want to see it again. You do not have too, everything is clear anyway (well, I hope so...)

Soundwave's secret (Transformers)

Chapter 34.

"Soundwave, can we go to WheelJack? He said he has some data pods we might like."

"Yeh, and may be some spare details for test, if he had blown something up again."

The femme looked at her youngest companions.

WheelJack was a mech she could trust. Buzzsaw was usually with the youngling and he confirmed that fact. The worst this 'Bot could do was to teach the twins how to make thing explode...

"You may go. Rattbat, Buzzsaw?" The condor smiled and jumped on Frenzy's shoulder-plate, "Always with them."

As they left, Ravage stayed at Soundwave's side.

'Back to the roof?'

'Open space makes me feel better. But I want to have a small walk.'

'Outside, to the city then.' Ravage sent Soundwave a warming pulse through the bond and walked out of the room following. They walk silently and calmly. Slowly but the base was getting less alien every day. The paths were known, the cameras located, exits tested. Yet, Ravage's instincts seemed almost always at a high level of function. Once the two reached the outside, the panther warned.

'We have a company. I don't smell fear or agression.'

'A peaceful visitor then.'

'Dreadwing.'

Soundwave raised her helm and turned her attention to the corner where the corridors were connected when, indeed, the flier's figure appeared after several clicks. Realizing that his presence was noticed the mech gave a polite nod and walked closer, his posture straight, helm high.

"Soundwave." He said once he stopped by her side close, "I hope I am not disturbing."

The femme gave a look at the door panels and turned back now facing the mech completely, ready to listen. Dreadwing gave a smile, politely once again, a gestured towards the exit letting Soundwave start the walk.

"It was an impressive work you performed today."

Somehow she was not surprised by the topic of the conversation. Yet, it was not disturbing and Soundwave had to admit feeling fine with a mech that was once her comrade. The things he could say she found curious which was a reason of both: his own personality and the somehow similar history they shared.

"But you have no wish in sharing the knowledge that you fear will lead to worse..."

The answer was not required. It was obvious what her words would be. Dreadwing went on calmly and fluently, accepting the femme's silence as a normal respond.

"The way we use our abilities is, indeed, a great responsibility, especial when it comes to the skills like yours. I understand your fears... But The war will not stop so easily, Soundwave, we both know it. It's either our victory or Decepticon's - which, I am sure, is not in your interest either. I know that you believe there being no winner in a war but we have to face the fact that someone will be superior. It will affect all of us, you as well. Your help would have been a great input to the result."
