chapter 49: Purification Ritual

Natsu's pov
The feeling that we're being watched is still there but for some reason my nose just can't pick up any scent and I can't even feel a magic power nearby so it's really weird but that's not important the important thing Team Natsu is back together as a start of reviving Fairytail. The situation with Gray being in Avatar was confusing at first but it eventually came clear when Erza explained what was going on. She encounterd Avatar and has asked Gray for help by infiltrating the Cult as we now were making our way to where the Ritual would be held we decided to set up camp for the night since we had about a day and the walk was around 3 hours we were close enough "So What have you been up to Natsu?" Gray asked as we exchanged stories "Training" i simply said well it was the truth all I did was training "oh yeah and I announced Fairytail's revival" i told him with a grin Erza shot a eyebrow up "care to explain?" she asked "He lit the castle of the king on Fire with the Fairytail mark on it" Luce answerd Wendy not having heard this story looked at me in shock Gray was laughing his butt off Carla looked at like I was Crazy and Erza had a thick mark on her head "ahahahahh that is so you Natsu" Gray cackled I popped a vein "you wanna go stripper?!" i taunted "any time Pyro" he grinned taking a ice make position "Ice princess" "Match stick" we both insulted each other but before we could continue we both got a blow to the head by Erza "there was this one thing though" Luce began trailing off "hmm?" Erza hummed in questioning "we'll you see we have been having this feeling that we're being followed" she said and that got their attention "we found a camp a few days ago it was just out of my hearing and smell range but it still was really close to our own camp but the problem was the fire was from the night before and there was no scent there like no one ever was there" i explained "that is most peculiar" Erza said placing her chin in her hand "there is this one thing I haven't been able to tell you Erza" Gray said looking at her "oh what is it?" she asked "well you see when I was at Avatar one of the members Zero had a visitor but the person wasn't a part of Avatar" he told her and she nodded thinking about this information "was there a name mentioned?" she asked "yeah multiple times... Chaos" Gray said Erza's eyes widened in recognition at the name "are you absolutely Sure?" she asked her voice was dangerously low "what's wrong?" Luce asked confused "yeah I'm sure" Gray said nodding Erza let out a sigh and nodded "Chaos..has been known for the last year their clients are dark guilds Chaos does anything from Killing rivaling guilds to keeping away the council from there business.. Yes chaos has been a thorn in the side of the light guilds and the council" she said "is there anything known about them?" Wendy asked "the only thing that is known is the blood red cape with the black hand pattern on it" Erza Said as Gray scrunched his eyebrows together "that's weird because when chaos came to avatar they were wearing a purple cloak with blue and black markings (eh Eh 😏😏) not the red one" Gray said earning confusion from Erza "what ever for now we sleep we will need all the energy we can get" she said as everyone nodded we fell asleep around the campfire

We were woken up by Erza next morning as we made our way towards where all members of avatar would be assembling for the purification ritual as we made our way towards where the ritual would be held. It was an easy fight for us after we dealt with the person behind the ritual the Magic council arrived "arrest them!" a man that looked a lot like metal Brain yelled "you're under arrest" the man said to us "what the hell man?" i cried "i don't like your face" he said to me and told Luce she was clothed indecent or whatever that means he said stripper was under arrest for public nudism as he lost his pants again "you sure act high and mighty for someone who looks like Gajeel" Erza said and then we saw Levy and Pantherlily approach "that's because he is Gajeel" she sweatdropped at Erza "Hey Lu-chan!" she greeted as she saw Luce who waved back at her I was about to say something when a dark aura fell over us "another avatar member?" Luce asked and Gray shook his head "impossible the only one who wasn't here was Zero but this isn't his magic energy" he said.

Leanne's pov
I finally decided that now was the time to show myself as I removed the limiters you could see they immediately noticed my presence I had commanded Arya to stay back in her human form "well well well it seems I have caught some Ex-fairies" i said chuckling "who are you!" Erza demanded "I'm afraid I'll won't be answering that question" i told her turning to Gajeel and Levy "you two have been a pain in my ass the last year you know you owe me 40 milion jewel" i told them "what are you talking about and why don't you show your face you chicken?" he barked and I started laughing a bit "you arrested some of my high paying clients" i told them as Erza's eyes widened in realisation "Chaos" she said darkly and I chuckled "i see Titania is good in guess who?" i said sarcastically her eyes narrowed "you know Fullbuster betraying Zero wasn't very nice" i told him as his eyebrows furrowed as he glared at me "oh and you three have to work on making it people hard to follow you" i said turning to Wendy Natsu and Lucy "So you were the one following us?" Natsu demanded and I nodded "yes indeed I was honestly suprised you didn't notice I have been following you since the arena in the games" i told him smirking under my hood I could feel heat radiating off of him as he rushed towards me with his fist full of Fire I caught his fist with my bare hand and threw him back I only just noticed I still had Nilani with her and I didn't want to get her in danger I let out a whistle and Arya came running in her human form "take Nilani and keep her safe" i said and she nodded as she cradled Nilani who tried to reach out for me I kissed her forehead really quick and turned around "did you steal a child?" Erza asked "oh come on I mean yeah I'm working for dark guilds but I'm not that evil,that's my own daughter" i told her "well it seems she won't get to know her mother I will take her to an orphanage and put her up for adoption after I defeat you" she shouted and I froze in place as my anger radiated of me in waves "you want to take my baby girl away from me?" i asked as my demonic voice was dangerously low I saw even Erza shudder a bit with the rest of the mages I let out an dragon like roar and launched at Erza with an "Black Dragon's fist" i hit her in the cheek as she was send flying back the other mages soon decided to come after me as Natsu got back u he used a "Fire dragon's roar" towards me "Void shield!" i yelled creating a crack In the fabric of Reality that opened the void as it sucked in all attacks that were aimed for me I smirked at them "you said you wanted to see me without my hood?" i asked when I got no answer I pulled down my hood "hello Fairytail" i said as there eyes went wide at my appearance "No..no you can't be Lea-nee!" Wendy cried I looked at her "i am Leanne Chaos daughter of Stella the Star dragon and Acnologia the black dragon" i stated I looked at Gray as he was staring at me "that was Arya wasn't it?" he asked and I nodded "So if you said that baby was your daughter...she is mine as well isn't she" he stated as I was silent for a few looking at the shocked reactions from the other mage "yes she is...her name is Nilani...the only light left in my dark heart" i said looking at the trees behind the Fairytail group "So if I'm her father I want custody" he said confidently "No" i simply said he looked at me confused "No?" he asked "indeed No, I won't give you her"I told him plainly I looked past him for a second before looking back" do you know why I was at Tartaros with Acnologia?" i asked and he nodded "we were after the same thing as you are,we're after E.N.D" i said his eyes darkened "Tell me what you know of E.N.D" he demanded I licked my lips at how demanding he was "where was this Gray during our relationship?" i asked sensually he blushed for a moment "to bad but I'm not going to tell you what I know" i told him before grinning "that would be Spoilers!" i said he gritted his teeth and I giggled "well then I think this is all the time we have but don't worry I'm sure we'll see each other soon Enough" i said before growing out my wings and shooting of into the Air....
