*Ayslin at the top*

~Tori

Crossing the bridge that divided sector one to sector three, the differences was too noted.

Escaping the rusty apartments, tore down alleys, scattered debris was a new setting which had clear bricked pavings and the houses stood clean and modernised, the air around the dome was fresh and the sky was surprisingly blue unlike the black air of sector 3.

As I neared the house, it stood in elegance in a soft cream colour, the building style hinted a Victorian-era styling, in the front were about 5 rows of a different colour convertible.

Of course, only rich people owned expensive convertibles, thinking back to Derekell I noticed the same red convertible parked on the left-hand side corner of the home, pulling up into a parking spot that did not deserve the rusted chevy I was driving, stood the largest house I have ever set my eyes on.

Without realising anger and jealousy poured through me, tucking it away inside I stepped out and approach the door, before knocking a blonde opened the door, her eyes shone a bright blue while hugging her body was a short beautiful red dress.

''Why hello there, am Ayslin you must be Miranda'' her voice rang like endless bells.

''Umm, yeah...hi'' I managed to stutter out, taken aback by the warm welcome, it was not something I expected, I grew up believing the rich were snobby and stuck up she was definitely an exception.

''Oh come in we've all been waiting for you, Damon went out swimming but Derekell is in the living room.''

She carried on as though we were long lost friends reuniting for the first time in years, while she was showing me the house.

Everywhere was filled with gold and silver with a white lining highlight; as we entered a large living room, placed there was two huge white couch with a flat screen television hung on the wall.

But those things didn't catch my attention as much, seated on the couch was the black sweatered guy but this time with a black shirt, smiling to myself I guess he had a thing for black, who could judge him, other than white that was the only thing I owned as well.

As I looked back at him, we both stared at each other for a moment I couldn't help but notice his ruffled yet attractive looking hair, his eyes were blue but a different shade than Ayslin. For a brief moment, he stared past me and raised an eyebrow.

''Miranda, do you mind if I call you Mira, but this is my brother Derkell and-" but suddenly Derkell interrupted her.

''But you can call me Derek'' his voice was deep and husky-like but soft, like drips of honey as they entered my eardrums. He was a different version than who I met last night, more relaxed and open.

Rising up from the couch he laid on, he struck out a hand. His shirt rising up slightly revealing toned abs, the v-line accentuating his body.

''I believe I already acquainted myself with you'' he responded grabbing my hands.

His hands were covered with veins and his arm was lean and muscular, catching another sight of his muscles underneath the shirt as he stretched to grasp my hand it sent shivers down my spine, giving a knowing nod I smiled hesitantly.

''I guess so Derek'' I spoke calmly trying to maintain my confidence, his expression remained blank but I would have sworn there was a smirk on his red lips which I now noticed was pierced on the side.

''Damon..'' a shocked voice said loud behind me, it was Ayslin turning around.

''Nice for you to join us'' she continued her tone slightly unsettled.

As I glanced to my left a soaked man appeared his hair was brown with streaks of light blonde that dripped down his forehead.

He was half naked, his body was rippled with muscles defined in every aspect, wearing only grey pants with a white towel at his right hand I noticed him scrubbing furiously frowning intently at me.

He was attractive, as I stared at him I raised my hand to politely say hello. Watching me emotionless, he stared at me slowly and then at my hand, walking towards me he passed me without a word, leaving me their standing.

A/N - Wonder why Damon would give Miranda the cold shoulder anyway tell me what you guys think. Do you like the plot, characters, or have something I should work on :) it is all purely welcomed! Until the next chapter!
