old friends

JAYY'S POV

I cant wait to go to Denny’s with Dahvie. One reason being I love Denny’s the second is. I’m going to hold his hand! Ahh I cant fucking wait. But I do wonder why he left it up to me about whether or not we would let our relationship go public. Oh well I’m guessing he didn’t wanna make the first move in public. He may not seem like it but he is pretty shy. Well he is shy when it comes to loving someone. I was standing in front of the bathroom mirror fixing my hair and putting on makeup when I heard Dahvie’s phone go off. He must have left it in my room. I walked over to my bed and picked it up. Garret Ecstasy . Wow a huge shock that he even has Garret’s number after all the shit he has done. But you know Dahvie he seems to forgive easily. I stood for a minute just debating as to if I should answer it. I finally decided to pick it up. “ hello” I said into the phone “um Jayy?” Garett asked. “yeah Garett its Jayy what do you need?” he sighed and said “ I thought this was Dahvie’s phone” I chuckled almost silently and said “yeah it is do you wanna talk to him?” Garett seemed confused when he said “yeah I do” I yelled for Dahvie and he yelled from down stairs “what Jayy bear?” I laughed and said “phone for you” I could hear his shoes clambering up the stairs. He grabbed his phone from my hand as I laughed at him. He was out of breathe. “hello?” Dahvie said still gasping for breathe “um yeah we were already headed out there why?” he paused allowing Garett to reply. I walked back into my bathroom to finish my makeup. I didn’t hear anymore of the conversation. Dahvie walked up behind me and wrapped his arms tightly around my waist. “ Jayy” he whispered “we are meeting Garret at Denny’s” I felt my eyes go wide. Why would we meet with Garett. No I don’t hate him or anything but he isn’t very lovable. Especially since I took his spot in the band. He isn’t mean to me or anything but he doesn’t seem to consider me a friend anymore. I sighed and said “so did you tell him about us?” I saw Dahvie shake his head through his reflection in the mirror “nah he will have to wait and find out just like everyone else” I smiled and turned towards Dahvie. “I don’t think he will like it too much. I think he might have had a little crush on you. He seemed almost mad when I answered your phone.” Dahvie laughed and said “baby I know he has a crush on me or at least used to. Why do you think I would never share a bed with him?” I laughed so hard that my stomach started to hurt. When I was younger and Dahvie had invited me to go on tour with him and the rest. I had almost always ended up sharing a bed with him. I didn’t mind it but I did always wonder why he wouldn’t share a bed with Garett. Well I know now. I put my hands around his neck and put my lips to his. When I pulled away he was smiling. Aww too fucking cute! I put my hand in his and said “c’mon baby boy lets go” he smiled and walked to his car with me. I jumped into the passenger seat and he ran to the driver’s seat. He put the key into the ignition and started the car. We were about to pull into Denny’s when I felt a twisting in my stomach. There was no that I was nervous. Was there? I sighed and Dahvie turned towards me “c’mon Jayy give him another chance. I don’t care if he is a douche bag even he should get another chance to be our friend” I smiled and nodded. “oh” I said “and if he even attempts to flirt with you can I kick his ass?” Dahvie giggled and nodded “if he flirts with me you wont have to beat his ass. It will already be done” Dahvie jumped out of the car and came over to my door and opened it for me. “come along Madame” he said jokingly in a French accent. I laughed and kissed the top of his head. We walked into the restaurant searching for Garett. I finally spotted him with one of our old friends Adina. She smiled when she saw me. She jumped up and hugged me. She was one of the first real friends that I had

ever had. “Jayy” she said happily “how are you?” I smiled and hugged her back “I’m doing pretty good how bout you?” she released me and said “I’m doing amazing” I turned and saw Dahvie. He smiled when he saw Adina and hugged her. “hey Dahv” she said grinning happily. He released her smiling and said “hey doll eyes” she blushed and sat back down next to Garett. I wonder why she was here? Most likely because she wanted to see us. I sighed and turned awkwardly to Dahvie. He smiled and I grabbed his hand. Neither Garett or Adina noticed. “well” Garett said “are you going to sit down or just standing there?” Dahvie smiled and sat into the booth with me following him. We kept holding hands under the table. It felt so right. Just then the waitress walked over to us. “what can I get for everyone?” Dahvie and I both got burgers and fries. And Adina and Garett both got chicken salad. Once the waitress left Garett asked “so how’s life been treating you?” Dahvie shrugged and said “good I’ve met my soul mate” I looked down at my drink to keep from blushing. “aww” Adina said “what’s her name?” Dahvie smiled and looked at me. He was asking permission. I told him ok with my eyes. He looked back at them and said “HIS name is Jayy Von Monroe” they both went wide eyed and looked at me. I kissed Dahvie’s cheek. And smiled at them. “aww that is so adorable!” Adina said. Garret just looked at us seeming to be in utter most shock. Wow was he seriously not expecting this? Our food had just been brought to us and we were all chowing down. “so” Garett said awkwardly “I was hoping that you guys would let me be your friend again. I really have changed” I looked at Dahvie and he looked back at me. We both nodded at the same time. “ yeah” Dahvie said “we will give ya another chance but screw up again and you can forget it ok?”. Garett nodded and said “so how long have you two been dating?” I smiled and said “not very long maybe a day or two but I guess it was meant to happen” I looked at Dahvie just as he put his lips to mine. We were all done eating and Dahvie decided to invite Garett and Adina to hang out for awhile. They agreed and we headed out of the restaurant.

HALEY'S POV

Today my friend Garett Ecstasy got me out of jail. He bailed me out. I was so fucking excited to see him. I haven’t seen him in years. I told him about everything that had happened. I almost left out the part of me pushing Jayy of off the patio but somehow he already knew. I didn’t ask how because I didn’t really care. “so Haley” he said obviously planning something. “you wanna help me out?” hmm I wonder what it is. I nodded and he smiled. “how bout we both try to get Jayy out of Dahvie’s life. I want to be in the band again and you still love Dahvie right?” I nodded again and his smile grew bigger .“well how bout we get Jayy. I have the perfect plan…” I felt a smile grow onto my face as he told me the plan step by step. First he would get Dahvie and Jayy to trust him. Then we would leave our mark.
