another reminder of how I failed as a writer: Theo and Cora accidentally get married on a trip they went on to visit Lana's older sister, Peyton. They were told by their lawyer that they would either have to come up with the money themselves to get divorced (which neither of them have) or wait six months (which is what they did). Their friend, James, in the meantime, is having girl problems with Nina Peters (the twin sister of Noel Peters aka the evil rich jock dude in this story who happens to secretly be gay). So he devises a plan to go on a surprise triple date with Theo, Cora, Lana, Nina, and her fake boyfriend.

In the previous chapter, Cora and Theo go on a date and they kissed and they confessed their feelings. However, it's interrupted when Theo gets a phone call from the hospital about his Aunt Mary.

Hope that helped, sorry for the long wait. ALSO DON'T FORGET TO ENTER MY GIVEAWAY!! VIDEO ON THE SIDE TO SEE HOW TO ENTER AND WIN THE FAULT IN OUR STARS. I LOVE YOU MY LITTLE SUNSHINES!! Happy reading!! xx Ü

-------

I never let go of Theo's hand the entire way there. To be honest, it was kind of dangerous, seeing that he drove a stick shift and my hand was basically glued to the arm that he was using to maneuver it, but I was pretty sure we were way pass the point of trying to drive carefully. He was already breaking hundreds of driving laws as it was. He barely had the time to lock his car or apologize to the countless citizens that he was essentially putting in danger.

We flew through the parking lot and through the doors before reaching the receptionist's desk. I don't know if people have actually been in the hospital before, because it's not as easy as it looks to just get information on a person, even if they're family. Receptionists don't just release information out to the public just like that. Movies and books who make it look like it otherwise are sugarcoating it. I wrapped both my hands around Theo's neck and pulled him away before he could jungle climb over the counter and gouge the lady's eyes out.

My effort was tremendous, and it was extremely difficult to get him to calm down.

"Theo, Theo, Theodore, look at me," I demanded. My loud voice barely penetrated through his already made up mind. I squeezed his neck, but no reaction was formulated. Trying to wrap my arms around his body instead, I pulled him near me, trying to make sure he didn't go hysterical in the middle of the hospital.

Before long, tears were streaming down his face, and he couldn't hold back his string of profanities. People were looking among the already chaotic commotion in the hospital, it was buzzing with life and death. His screaming was lost in the sea of other patrons.

"Where is my aunt? Where is she?" he kept repeating and repeating.

Droplets of his tears were flying all over me, splashing and landing on my skin. I couldn't really stand to see him like this. I clung onto anything I could grab onto on his body, his clothes, hair, skin, everything to try and stop him from having a full blown meltdown. I didn't want to risk getting kicked out of the hospital and him not being able to see his aunt at all.

"Theo," I begged, my voice barely above a whisper. "Please, Theo, you have to calm down, or they'll kick us out. Theo."

He didn't look at me, but it was as if he heard me for the first time since he got the call. He calmed down, but I could still feel his heart beating furiously. I was trying my best to coax him into sitting on one of the waiting chairs, but to no avail. He just stood there with me clinging onto him. I was just happy that he wasn't shouting at the lady anymore, but there was nothing I could do to stop the flow of tears that were still slowly streaming down his face. It made me wonder just how much Aunt Mary meant to him.
