Y/N walked along the sidewalk, Not looking around at the people. She’s too annoyed at everything. She gets to her apartment, walking in and slamming the door.

“What’s wrong, Jolie fille?” her boyfriend, Lafayette asks. “Advanced placement classes, Where everyone makes you feel inferior and the work pisses you off.” Y/N responds sourly.  “Aw, Wanna talk about it?” he asks another question. “I already did.” She spoke stubbornly, sitting on the couch. Laf sighed and walked up to her, Standing behind the couch and leaning on her. “Don’t be like that, Mon amour. You’ll fell better once you talk about it.” He says. “I hate everyone in that stupid class. They understand what’s being explained before it’s even mentioned!” She explains. Laf nods.

Minutes later, Laf and Y/N are eating dinner. Y/n Laughing as Lafayette tells outlandish stories of him shopping for the ingredients. They finish and Y/N washes dishes. When she’s done, She goes to sit on the sofa with Laf. She sits and leans on him. “Hey laf?” she asks “Yes, Y/N?” “I wish you could make dinner like tonight. You didn’t burn it.” She taunts. “That was ONE TIME, Y/N” He responds with a small chuckle.

The next day, Y/N walks in the apartment. “I’m failing my class because my peers are *ssholes.” She groans. All she heard was silence.”Laf?” she calls into the apartment. She walked in the apartment more, looking around. She walks in each room, not finding him. “He must be Grocery shopping again.” She Whispered to herself. She walks to the kitchen and starts cooking dinner. She finishes, still alone. She eats alone, and she tries to fall asleep. She’s too worried to fall asleep, Until her eyelids grew heavy and sleep took over.

Y/N’s woken up sometime later to Lafayette climbing in bed. “Laf?” she asked.  “Oh! Mon amour, I didn’t want to wake you.” He whispered, Lying down. “Where were you all afternoon?” she asks him sleepily. “I was talking to your Principal, Then your teacher, Jolie fille. I wanted them to know how you felt.” He answered in a whisper. “I’d regret that if i didn’t convince your teacher to give you an A in your class.” He added. “To Quote Magnus Bane, ‘Regret is such a pointless emotion.’“ Y/N spoke in a yawn, being pulled towards Her personal Human Space Heater™, Falling asleep.
