It's a quiet day today at home, Caspar being at Vidcon for the next two weeks. I've been lying in bed for two hours, only to feel the empty side of the bed, where my boyfriend would be peacefully snoring, his head deep into the pillow, his blue eyes closed, being so close but also far away from reality and deep into his dreamland where there is probably pizza, youtube and Joe obviously. Thinking about the things he loves makes me smile. I get out of bed, got o my closet and find one of Caspar's hoodies. I put on a tank top and his black hoodie with black leggins and my with converses. My phone starts ringing and I see Caspar facetiming me. I answer and say :
« Hi baby ! »
His smile widens as he hears his nickname. He looks at me with his blue eyes :
« Hey baby girl »
He seems different, as if something's wrong :
« Are you okay baby ? You seem down »
« Of course I'm down, I can't be with you »
I smile sadly and say :
« Don't worry baby, five days left and you're all mine »
The thought of him being in my arms makes me smile, the thought of having that familiar smell around makes me feel safe, as if he was just beside me.
I looka t him as he smiles and says :
« I miss you so much baby girl, I miss your arms around me, I miss touching your soft hair, I miss feeling your small hands in mine, I miss hearing your light snoring beside me... »
I gasp and say :
« I don't snore ! »
« Yeah you do ! »
« I definitely don't »
He smirks when I give in :
« Maybe I do snore a little »
He screams in victory, jumps on the bed and lies on it. He says :
« Babe, I have to get dress, I have an interview in 30 minutes »
I look at him and say :
« Okay baby, have fun »
« Nowhere is fun without you »
I blush as he whispers « I love you »
I blow him a kiss and hang up. I leave the flat to meet Zoe. It seemed that she needed to talk to me about a lot of things. Zoe is my best friend and also Joe's sister. I walk up to the park where Zoe and I usually meet. When she sees me, she hugs me and we start talking about anything and everthing...
Caspar's POV :
« Mate, hurry up, we are going to be late ! »
Joe says as we are at the gate of the airport. I run to the till and we get there straight away. We got on the plane as I put our luggage away. Joe turns to me and says :
« She didn't suspect anything ? »
I turn to him and say :
« Not one bit. She thinks that we are coming back home in 5 days »
He nods, an impressed look on his face. The plan is that Y/N is going to spend the whole day with Zoe, then go out to diner with her and Alfie and finally coming back home to her surprise : me.
She didn't suspect a thing. I can't wait to be with her again, to hold her and to tell her in person that I love her. I fall asleep, imagining myself back at the flat with my beauty...
I find myself at a cute restaurant with Zoe and Alfie. I spend the whole day with Zoe and Alfie joined us at the restaurant. We had such a laugh, talking about crazy stories that happened at the Zalfie household, the mess that Nala makes and the fun times when they make collabs. Seeing that it's getting late, I decide to leave when Zoe says :
« We should do this again some day babe »
« We definitely should, I missed you »
She hugs me and lets me go as I hug Alfie and say :
« See you guys soon ! »
As I slowly leave I hear Alfie whisper to Zoe :
« She doesn't suspect a thing ? »
I turn around and say :
« I don't suspect what ? »
Zoe looks at me with wide eyes and says :
« Nothing ! Alfie, let's go home babe »
He nods and they leave the table. I walk back to the flat, feeling the cold creep in my cheeks and my hands. After a few minutes, I enter the building and go straight to my flat. I see that the door is slightly open. I could have sworn that I had locked the door. I slowly open the door to find rose petals ? Okay this is weird. I follow the trail that leads to the bedroom. On the way, candles are lit, now I'm starting to get curious. I open the bedroom door and rose petals all over the bed, candles around the bed.
I gasp when I feel strong arms around my waist. I recognize them. I turn around with tears in my eyes to find the only person I want, Caspar.
He smiles at me as I jump on him, wrapping my legs around his waist, crying happily in his shoulders. He whispers :
« I missed you so much, my precious baby girl »
I blush and hold him tighter, loving the feeling of home again. I let go of him and put on one of his shirts and my shorts. I turn around to find him already in bed, his trousers on and no shirt. I sneak into the bed and as my head hits the pillow, I feel two arms snake around my wait and his face in my neck, leaving small kisses and whispering sweet little nothings. My eyes close as I hear him say :
« I love you baby girl, forever and always »
