Vampire at Hogwarts

Chapter Ten

"Oh, I wonder who that is." Ferid asked. He went to the door dislike the many protests. "Hello 'Katrina'."

She stormed in and shouted "ALBUS!"

Everyone came running. "Katrina?" Harry asked. "How did you find us?"

"Albus told me where to find the Order. Speaking of which, where is he?"

"Right here."

"You do realize that Voldemort now knows about me, right?"

"That is...most unfortunate. I'm sorry Katrina."

"Cut the act. I'm done."

"Please, we can work something out if-"

"No! I told you that if there was any chance of endangerment I'd leave."

"Krul, please."

"Don't make the lady mad Professor." Ferid said.

"At least stay for the rest of the day."

"...fine. I might as well explain anyways." They all went back into the dining room and sat down. Before she spoke, she took out the colored eye contacts that made her eyes look brown. She also pulled back her hair behind her ears. This showed off her bright red eyes and pointed ears. "First of, my real name is Krul Tepes, the Vampire Queen." All around, people pulled out their wands. "Put those down, I won't harm you. Besides, those don't hurt me. Second, me and Albus are old friends. I came to Hogwarts under an alias with intentions to protect Harry Potter."

They looked to Dumbledore. "It is true. She came because I was worried for Harry's safety."

"And begrudgingly so. I'd rather not help humans. But I do owe Albus a number a favors, and he is a friend, so I was willing to help. However now, my position has been compromised. I won't be going to Hogwarts anymore."

"But- What about..." Hermione trailed off. She wasn't sure if she should talk about her situation.

"It will take a while for me to reverse it Hermione."

"What are you talking about?" Ron asked.

"I, um..."

"I turned her into a Fledgling." Krul said bluntly.

"WHAT?!" They all exclaimed. "Is that why you told us she wasn't a Vampire?!" Harry asked. Hermione nodded. "You lied to us, for her?!"

"Don't blame her. I didn't give her a choice."

"But, but how do we even know what your saying it true?" Harry asked. "That you are a Vampire, or that Hermione is a Fledgling!?"

"I have no reason to lie."

"I'm with Harry on this one." Sirius said. "How do we know?"

"I'm more concerned about the fact that Voldemort got her hands on her." Remus said.

"Well, no one here will vouch for me and you can't take Ferid or my word, so I suppose I'll just leave now." She hissed.

"Krul, please." Dumbledore said.

"It'll be in the papers tomorrow anyway. 'Vampire discovered at Hogwarts'. If you need a place to stay after that, you're always welcome in my kingdom. Ferid, let's go. Hermione, live off what I gave you. I'll try and get you the cure as soon as possible."

With that, she left and no one stopped her.

Hermione sat in her room with the suitcase next to her. After the fact that she was a Vampire was revealed, Harry and Ron were mad at her for supporting a Vampire, meanwhile Ginny was afraid of her. There was a knock on the door. "Come in!" She said. It was Remus.

"Hey Hermione." He walked in and sat next to her.

"So, your still talking to me?"

"You forget I was in your situation before. Remember how I became a Werewolf?"

"Yeah well, it least your parents could help you. We have much more information on them." She started to get the pains again.

"Are you okay?" Remus asked.

"Need blood." Remus started to reach for the suitcase. "I don't want anything Krul gave me." Remus backed away from the suitcase. "She ruined my life!" Hermione threw the suitcase across the room.

"Hermione, it's hard, but Krul said she'd change you back."

"And what if she doesn't!? Then I'm stuck like this! And eventually, I'll turn into a full-fledged Vampire! Then I can't go back!"

"Well, you'll just have to trust her." Remus went and retrieved the suitcase. "But for now, stay alive." He gave her the suitcase and walked out of the room.

"How is she?" Albus asked.

"Upset." Remus replied. "Are you sure she will turn Hermione back?"

"I am one of Krul's closest friends, and she has told me things she hasn't told Ferid Bathory."

"The silver haired guy?"

"Yes. Anyways, she has told me, that she wasn't originally a Queen. First, she was in a situation similar to Hermione's. She didn't want to be a Vampire, it was forced upon her. But eventually her humanity faded away and she became the cold girl she is today. That was about 1000 years ago I believe. She most harden her will so that she wouldn't leave Hermione a choice, but she is still in my debt. She would just leave Hermione there."

"Your sure?"

"Yes Remus. Besides, if she really wouldn't turn Hermione back, she would have already kidnapped her and taken her to her kingdom."
