Snapes POV

We arrived back at the castle and headed for my quarters, the poor girl was shaken
I wrapped my arms around her and held her close to me
"I told you I would come if you called" I told her
"And you did, so I thank you" she smiled
"We need to tell Dumbledore about this, now that I actually hit your father with an unforgivable curse"
"Can't this just stay between us?" She pleaded
I told her that we had to tell him, I made sure she knew that Dumbledore would protect her.
It took a lot of convincing but she finally gave in.

Mya moaned in pain, I could bet that one of her ribs was broken,
I pulled out my wand and pointed it at her
"What are you doing?" She asked
"Trust me, I know you're in pain but I want to make it better, it will hurt a little"
I told her honestly and she nodded.
I cast the charm and I heard the click, she cried out in pain.
"I'm sorry Mya" I told her
Now thankfully her rib was healed.
"Oh shit that hurt, but thank you" she grinned
"Language Miss Taylor, and you're welcome" I laughed.

We walked to Dumbledores office together.
"Big hairy bollocks" I said trying to keep a straight face
"You are joking right?" Mya looked stunned
"He changed the password" I said simply, trying to conceal my amusement
"He really is something else isn't he?" She joked
"Yes I could think of a few words to discribe him sometimes" I laughed
She looked at me in shock
"It was a joke Miss Taylor" I mused
We entered and Sat down, Albus looked perplexed as to why we were there
It was only Saturday evening after all. Mya was meant to be with her father

I explained everything to Albus, obviously leaving out the fact Mya and myself were 'involved' so to speak.
Albus shook his head in horror
"Why in merlins name did you not come to me before?" He scolded us both
"I wanted to Albus, please believe me, but Mya thought it would make things worse"
Albus nodded
"I see, well I can assure you Miss Taylor, I will be reporting your father and you shall not have to see him again" the old man smiled
Mya nodded, I don't think she cared about what happens to her father, She is just glad that it's all over.
Albus told Mya to go back to her dormitory and get some rest, which left us alone
"Severus, this girl needs someone" he said plainly
"What do you mean by that?" I asked
"To talk to, a friend, someone with more wisdom... Someone who has been there"
Albus smiled
"What do you mean 'been there'?" I quizzed
"Oh come on now Severus, we both know very well that your father used to knock seven bells out of you when he was angry" he raised both of his eyebrows.
"So what? The girl has nothing to do with me!" I scowled, all for show, not meaning a word of it.
"Severus, I trust you will do the right thing" Albus smirked with a glint in his eyes, he rose from his chair and sent Severus on his way.

I returned to the dungeons and there she was, stood outside my door
"You should be resting!" I told her, smiling on the inside
"I don't want to rest" she smiled sweetly
I led her inside and poured her a fire whiskey
"Just this once, you've had a long day" I smirked
Mya took it gratefully, she actually seemed excited about it

We talked about what happened in more detail, and I held her close to me
"I thought he was going to kill me" she cried into my robes
"I'd never let that happen" I squeezed her
She collapsed into my arms, letting go of all the stress, I held her until she
wanted me to let go.
"Why are you so kind to me?" She asked
I didn't know what to say....
"I wish I could tell you" I smiled
